He was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 1982. Before his IP career, Mr. Lee worked as an engineer at Samsung Aerospace Industries Co., Ltd. (currently Samsung Techwin Co., Ltd.) 1 Jay Jehyun Kim Senior Partners Mr. Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a BSc. (1982) in Aerospace Engineering. He received an MSc. (1989) in History of Science and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. He is responsible for patent prosecution, litigation and other IP related matters for a number of foreign clients in the fields of mechanical and automotive technologies, mobile communications, display devices and mechatronics. As a member of Yulchon, Lee & Mock joint IP litigation team, he was involved in several notable IP dispute cases in Korea. Before joining the firm, he worked as a patent attorney at Kim & Chang and as a senior partner at Yoon & Yang IP Law Office. He was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 1994 and is an active member of KPAA, APAA, INTA and AIPPI.
2 Haeyoung Lee
Mr. Lee received a BSc. in Electronics from Yonsei Univ. in 1985. He obtained an LL.M from the Graduate School of Law, Yonsei Univ. in 2008. He was admitted to the Korea Patent Bar in 1997. Prior to joining the firm in 1993, he gained experience in IT-related technologies at Goldstar Information & Telecommunications Co., Ltd (currently LG Electronics Co., Ltd.). His technical experience extends over a variety of areas of electronics and electrical engineering, such as telecommunications, computer hardware and software and semiconductor electronics. He is a member of KPAA, AIPPI and 3 5 LES. His practice usually relates to electrical engineering, IP consulting, prosecution, trial and litigation. 1

2 Mr. Lee received a BSc. in Atmospheric Science from Yonsei Univ. in 1991 with a minor in Physics. He also received a 4 Master of Intellectual Property Law (MIP) from the Law School of the Univ. of New Hampshire (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in the U.S. in 1998, and an MSc (2001) and ABD (2000) in Electrical Engineering from Yonsei Univ. in 2001. Before joining the firm, he was associated with Kim & Chang and Central Patent and Law Office. His specialty relates to electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, and computer hardware & software. He is responsible for patent prosecution, litigation and other IP related matters in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, and software. He was admitted to the Korea Patent Bar in 1996 and is a member of KPAA, APAA, and AIPPI.
4 Younggi Hong Mr. Hong received a BA in Business Administration from Yonsei University. He also received a Master of Intellectual Property Law (MIP) from the Law School of the Univ. of New Hampshire (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in the U.S. in 1998. Mr. Hong was admitted to the Korean Patent Bar in 1992. Before joining the firm, he worked for Samsung Corporation, a general trading company. As a partner of the firm, his practice includes all phases of trademarks, designs, unfair competition, and intellectual property management. Mr. Hong is experienced in a wide range of trademark and design cases seeking protection of rights in Korea and overseas countries. He is an active member of KPAA, APAA and INTA.
5 Jordan Y. Kim
Mr. Kim received a B.A in Spanish Language and Int’l Business from Hankuk Univ. of Foreign Studies in 1980. He also received a Master of Intellectual Property Law (MIP) from the Law School of the Univ. of New Hampshire (formerly Franklin Pierce Law Center) in the U.S. in 1994. Prior to entering the IP field, Mr. Kim was in charge of business planning and licensing at Hyundai Corp., a general trading company. After he was admitted to the Korea Patent Bar in 1990, he started his career as a patent attorney in the firm in 1991. He extended his career to foreign IP practice, serving as counsel in Morgan & Finnegan in New York, USA. The large part of his job includes counseling for strategic IP management, licensing, commercialization of inventions and dispute resolution. He is a guest professor at Hankuk Univ. of Foreign Studies.
