For the purposes of this work the BGS only used data which was publicly available at the end of February 2016. The one exception to this was the extent of Oil and Gas Authority licensing which was updated to include data to the end of June 2018. 1 RWM | Wales Regional Geology Introduction This region comprises Wales and includes the adjacent inshore area which extends to 20km from the coast. Subregions To present the conclusions of our work in a concise and accessible way, we have divided Wales into 6 subregions (see Figure 1 below). We have selected subregions with broadly similar geological attributes relevant to the safety of a GDF, although there is still considerable variability in each subregion. The boundaries between subregions may locally coincide with the extent of a particular Rock Type of Interest, or may correspond to discrete features such as faults. -

The bakehouse was located in the corner of what was a close, or field, which according to records in 1842 was owned and occupied (used) by Sir George Beaumont, possibly as part of his estate farm. It is not known who the bakers were, but it is likely that they were allowed to make a charge for the service that they supplied. There were other communal bakeries in the parishes around Coleorton; there was one in Aqueduct Road and it is believed that there was one in Farm Town, but this particular bakehouse is one of the last surviving communal bakehouses in the country. Coleorton Hall would have had its own facilities to ensure that it had sufficient bread for both the residents and the staff at the hall. Locally grown and milled wheat would have been used for the bread. -

Three councillors were elected for each of the six wards, Cyfarthfa, Dowlais, Town, Penydarren, Plymouth, Merthyr Vale. The council took over the functions of the Merthyr Tydfil Board of Health, in particular responsibility for public health, housing highways and bridges, as well as the taking over the functions of Merthyr and Dowlais Burial Boards. In 1902 the provision of elementary education was transferred to the council from the School Board. In our plan, we set out what we expect from our Councillors and what we expect from the Council to achieve our Wellbeing Objectives. Since last year this has been formulised into political priorities and how this connects the local Wellbeing Objectives and Cwm Taf Wellbeing Plan. 1.2. As a Council, we are committed to working closely with our communities to build resilience across the Councillor Kevin O'Neill County Borough and bring people together. As Leader, I want to use my role to continue to build Leader of the Council connections between people and empower community action as a way to improve wellbeing.
