Chrysler Group vehicles continue to signify style, grace and elegance — this time on Hollywood’s Red Carpet

Chrysler Group had a leading role in the 78th Annual Academy Awards® Sunday night in Hollywood as Chrysler and Jeep® vehicles transported some of Hollywood’s major stars to the Academy Awards and to other related activities surrounding the event.

Among those chauffeured in Chrysler group vehicles such as the stretch version of the Chrysler 300C luxury sedan and the all-new Jeep Commander — the first Jeep to offer seven-passenger seating – were Academy Awards presenter Uma Thurman, Best Supporting Actress winner Rachel Weisz and Best Supporting Actor nominee Matt Dillon.

Chrysler 300 The dramatic exterior design of the Chrysler 300, along with sophisticated interior amenities and technologies, establish a new large-car formula with style and performance not likely to be copied. The 2006 Chrysler 300 lineup includes the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) Chrysler 300, Chrysler 300 Touring and the HEMI®-powered Chrysler 300C. The 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring and 300C also are available with all-wheel drive (AWD). A Limited package also is available on both the rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations of the 300 Touring model.

Jeep Commander The all-new 2006 Jeep Commander is the first seven-passenger 4x4 that is Jeep Trail Rated and the only SUV in its class to offer a choice of two V-8 engines. The introduction of the Jeep Commander signals the Jeep brand’s commitment to remaining the leader in the SUV market, which Jeep invented nearly 65 years ago. The Jeep Commander expands and strengthens the Jeep lineup, which consists of Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Liberty and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
