They include: (1) a description of the livelessons to be conducted by Christa McAuliffe; ;2) teaching-relatedevents of Mission 51-L; (3)a list of key mission-related terms; (4)pre-viewing activities; and (5) teaching activities. These activitiesfocus on living in space (the shuttle's size, orbital humanfactors, health and survival, and space stations), working and studying inspace (diversity of jobs, benefits and costs, and scientific study),and recording the space experience (creative expression, forms ofcommunication, and space laws and decision). Each activity includesa statement of the concept involved, a list of objectives, andsuggested instructional strategies.
