‘The Council will support the development of additional local healthcare centres in Wallington and Hackbridge and a local hospital at St Helier (as shown on the Proposals Map) and will support the Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust’s proposals for additional facilities to meet healthcare needs in the south and west of the Borough in sustainable locations.

The Council will support the development of the Royal Marsden and Institute of Cancer Research site as a centre of medical excellence in providing cancer care, research facilities and associated activities.’
