Report} Kentucky Facilities with Far East/Pacific Rim Ownership Report} Kentucky Facilities with Far East/Pacific Rim Ownership December 28, 2015 Number of Facilities: 202 Total Full-Time Employment: 45,346 Introduction and Methodology The Kentucky foreign ownership reports provide a list of facilities (with 10 or more employees) normally associated with Cabinet programs. Most information is taken directly from surveys completed by each facility or from phone or personal contact with the facility. Survey information is collected on an annual basis. Facility name, address, location, product or service, employment, ownership, and other information may change and often does change between annual survey attempts. While all attempts are made to capture ongoing changes from data provided by facilities, local economic development contacts, media announcements, and Cabinet programs, no guarantee can be made that changes will be discovered. Also included on these reports, but not counted in the total number of facilities or full-time employment, are new location projects recently announced in Kentucky. The projects are identified by (announced) next to their projected full-time employment. If information indicates foreign ownership, either direct or indirect, the facility is included on the Foreign Ownership reports; a specific percentage of foreign ownership is not required. Multiple owners of a facility will be included on the report where applicable. The use of an asterisk (*) preceding an owner's name indicates direct ownership.     ADBI-JFSA-OECD Roundtable on Insurance and Retirement Saving in Asia 25-26 April 2018 Tokyo, Japan To purpose of this roundtable is to better inform policy makers and private sector participants in Asia of the policy analysis that the OECD is developing, and to discuss key issues in the Asian market with input from the JFSA, with the aim of sharing experience and good practices for the sound development of insurance and private pensions markets. The Asia-Pacific region is among the fastest growing markets in the world for insurance and is responsible for an increasing share of global insurance premiums and assets under management. However, the level of insurance and retirement savings penetration remains low, leaving large numbers of individuals unprotected against both certain and uncertain risks in the context of important demographic and social changes in the region. The development of insurance and private pension markets provides an opportunity for the diversification of risk over time and among different participants. All rights reserved. 2 Summary of Financial Results ＜Summary＞ Although operating income in FY15/3 decreased due to a partial moving-out of TOSHIBA Corporation from the Hamamatsucho Building, the residential development business marked the record-high unit sales of 7,021 units. Operating revenue and net income achieved the highest level. Shareholders’ equity ratio improved to 28.8%. ROA slightly declined to 5.4%, while ROE substantially rose to 10.3%. Both are top levels in major industry peers. FY16/3, the final year of Phase I, is expected to grow in operating revenue and operating income due to leasing up of the Hamamatsucho Building and increased property sales to the Group’s REITs, etc. Operating revenue is expected to renew the record high. FY16/3 is a shifting period to a growth stage. We are to accelerate redevelopment and complex development as well as property development, while maintaining financial strength. In addition, we will start full-fledged new businesses including senior and overseas. Annual dividend of FY16/3 is planned to be 50 yen, which would be a dividend increase for four fiscal years in a row.
