Esta ruta circula por las comarcas de Somontano, Hoya de Huesca y Monegros en un entorno caracterizado por extensas llanuras de cultivos. Saliendo de Barbastro, la capital del Somontano, el recorrido se dirige hacia Laperdiguera, donde no hay que dejar de visitar su magnífi co pozo fuente y continúa hacia Pertusa, localidad por la que pasa el ramal catalán del Camino de Santiago. Las siguientes poblaciones del itinerario serán Salillas y Sesa para continuar hacia Huerto, Venta de Ballerías y Peralta de Alcofea donde se puede contemplar la espectacular portada románica de su iglesia, declarada Monumento Histórico-Artístico. La ruta se prolonga hacia Berbegal, un magnífi co mirador del Somontano y de los Pirineos y por último las localidades de Ilche, Selgua y Castejón del Puente desde donde se regresa a Barbastro.
