2 IMPORTANCE OF WAND SELECTION Wand selection is an important even in a young witch or wizards life . Young Wizard Wyatt is taking his time choosing the wand that is just right for him . He chose a wand made of walnut , ten inches , pliant , and a tail feather of a phoenix ; A fine wand for a fine wizard sounds like a winner! WAND SELECTION Wand selection is key to a witch or wizards success . The wood a wand is made out of , the diameter, length , pliancy, and its string are all important when it comes to wand selection . Remember one does not simply choose a wand, the wand chooses the wizard, so says Mr. Olivander, the wand maker. So go on give it a wave . “Remember, swish and flick. And saying the magic words properly is very important, too – never forget Wizard Baruffio, who said ‘s’ instead of ‘f’ and found himself on the floor with a buffalo on his chest.

Stupefy! Riddikulus! 5 TRIP TO HOGSMEADE FOR SOME DELICIOUS HOUSE CUP BEVERAGES

With a whopping 210 points Ravenclaw won the house cup! Through shear diligence and points for good behavior Ravenclaw took the lead . The race was a close one as many teams were tying for first place throughout the week and valiant effort was fought by all . Hufflepuff came in second as a very close runner up followed by Slytherin & Gryffindor. We would like to point out and showcase that all of our students this week put forth a great effort. Each child as an individual and as a team member showed amazing participation, tireless imagination , and a willingness to be totally immersed in the spirit of this week; from working as a team for their house points to playing quidditch on the field , and even being brave enough to stand up in front of all of their peers to challenge a teacher or a head master to a wand duel all of them did an amazing job this week as Hogwarts students and we really enjoyed doing so many fun things with them this week .
