THE ARTHUR ROSS AWARDS, 1982-2021 The Arthur Ross Awards have been presented annually since 1982 in recognition of important contributions to and achievements in preserving and advancing the classical tradition in art and architecture, artisanship, community design, education, history, landscape architecture/gardening, mural painting/painting, patronage, rendering, sculpture, and stewardship/good manners. As of 2013 the category of Interior Design is included.
