There is no charge to join. 04 www.windenergynetwork.co.uk INDUSTRY ARTICLE THE UK & Image courtesy of Fendercare Marine IRELAND VESSEL CO- OPERATIVE CONFERENCE 2013 WELCOME The Mayor of Gt Yarmouth, Her Worship Councillor Colleen Walker, welcomed all present to Gt Yarmouth and described how important the wind industry has, and will continue to be a very important sector to the success of the area. INTRODUCTION Andy Iannetta, MD of Offshore Marine Support and Chairman for the day, gave a very enthusiastic introduction of what to expect during the conference and invited all to voice any opinions and/or concerns. He emphasised that it was very early days in the life of the co-operative and everyone involved felt it essential that every base was covered regarding any concerns expressed. Andy further explained, assisted by video, the reasoning behind the set up and expressed his eagerness to involve all interested parties, including educational establishments, colleges and fishermen/ fishermen’s organisations.
