I would like to thank all Team partners for making getting vaccinated against COVID- 19 as easy as possible and thank you Toronto for rolling up your sleeves and getting vaccinated. If you haven’t booked your first or second COVID-19 dose, you can now walk-in to any of the City-run vaccination clinics. Details are available at www.toronto.ca/covid19.

*NEW* City of Toronto releases its mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for employees – News Release. Under the policy, all members of the Toronto Public Service are required to disclose vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination by September 13. Staff who have not been vaccinated or who do not disclose their vaccination status will be required to attend mandatory education sessions. Even though it’s still summer, back to school is just a few weeks away! The best time to get vaccinated is now. Get your COVID-19 vaccine today so students can get back to school safely in September! Getting both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is the best defence against the virus, including the Delta variant, and will provide the opportunity for students to return to school as safely as possible. City of Toronto run mass vaccination clinics: Vaccine eligibility is now expanded to youth born in 2009. Walk-in vaccinations and appointments are available at City-run clinics for first or second doses from Tuesday to Saturday from 1 to 7pm. Full details at www.toronto.ca/covid19.

The 2021 Terry Fox “Virtual” Run is less than a month away! The event will take place on Sunday, September 19, 2021. As was done last year, the 2021 Terry Fox "Virtual" Run means you will register online, and then lace up your running shoes and head out the door to walk, run, bike, or hike a route of your choosing in your own neighbourhood, safely. Ongoing Guildwood GO Nightwork – Metrolinx is conducting nightwork at the Guildwood GO Station on weekdays from 7pm to 5am. This work started on August 9th and is expected to run through to September 2021. Impacts to the surrounding community include dust and noise but is expected to be minimal in nature.

CivicLabTO Toronto Ambient Air Quality Impacts from COVID-19 Study! The aim of the study is to collect responses from City of Toronto residents to provide insights on the relationships that exist between human behaviour, activity, air pollution, and carbon emissions in Toronto before, during, and after movement restrictions as related to the COVID-19 pandemic through a survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Please complete this survey by August 31, 2021.

YouthLink LGBTQ2S+ Scarborough Needs Assessment Survey – Scarborough Youth (aged 12- 29) and community service providers are encouraged to provide their feedback about their experiences on what's working, what’s not working, and how you feel the 2SLGBTQ+ experience in Scarborough could improve.
