2011 MR WT Master Nickeloden Comes to Township Special Issue #2 A special Mr. WT edition of The Patriot April 28, 2011 Favorite pick up line? “We should hang out sometime”, thanks to Josh Sundquist. If you could pick anyone besides you to win, who would it be and why? Joe Bollendorf because when I first moved here, back in tenth grade, he helped me out so much. I am very thankful for that and to this day I still consider him a great friend. What is your hidden talent? Tie a cherry stem into a knot and unwrap a starburst with my tongue. If you could bring three things with you to a deserted island, what wouldthey be? Gel for my hair, Snuggie for when it gets cold, and some volleyball I have with a bloody handprint on it. Childhood aspiration vs. current aspiration? Then: become a superhero and fight crime. Now: lift and have body like Steve Ryan Francisco Chapman so all the girls can stare at me. “Mr. January” What WTHS teacher has had the most impact on your high school career? Mr. Byatt, he is the modern day Forrest Gump. He taught me small things about Otto from Rocket Power life that I still use today. He’s a very kind and awesome person. If you could change the mascot, what would it be? A double tusking narwhal with the ability to shoot lightning from its fins. Childhood aspiration vs. current aspiration? When I was little I wanted to be a singing chef, that quickly changed to astronaut, and now, now I plan on being a physics major and inventing my ideas. How do you want to be remembered at WTHS? I want to be remembered as that kid with the wicked personality, but I will be remembered as that kid that jumpropes with his arms; so that’s cool too. Favorite decade? The 80’s, who doesn’t like a good pair of parachute pants? Describe yourself in three words: Eccentric, chill, Pokémon Master Favorite pick up line? I always believed in Ash Ketchum’s philosophy - gotta catch ‘em all - then I met you Dylan Black and I only needed one. “Mr. February” Favorite subject in school? My favorite subject is Physics, it requires a completely different way of thinking, and Helga from Hey Arnold yet allows for more than one solution. If you could be any vegetable what would it be? Spinach, I’d like to know that I was single handedly responsible for turning Popeye into a machine. What teacher at WTHS has had the most impact on your high school career? Mrs. Perry, she taught me that it is possible to absolutely hate a class but still manage to like the teacher. If you could change your name what would it be? Darth Vader If you could live anywhere besides the US, where would it be and why? Jamaica because they have goats that run across the highway. What would be your advice to underclassmen concerning high school? High School goes by way too fast so take advantage of every opportunity that you can and get involved. If you could bring three things with you to a deserted island, what would they be? CJ Walker An archery kit, a George Foreman Grill (solar powered), and a boat in case I try to leave. What are your aspirations and plans for after graduation? “Mr. March” Other than becoming a Power Ranger, I hope to attend a four year school where I can then Chuckie from Rugrats go on to start a career with a decent starting salary. If you could change your name what would it be? I would change my name to Shane Sibert. He has so much swag. Celebrity Crush? Justin Bieber. People go crazy for him and he’s with Selena Gomez. What is your hidden talent? I can make water drop noises with my mouth and I can braid my hair. What is the number one thing you look for in a significant other? Beautiful brown curly hair. If you could change the mascot, what would it be? It would be the Washington Township Camels. Duh. If you could address any issue the world faces today, what would it be? Mother Nature. She’s been having mood swings lately. If you could live anywhere besides the US, where would it be and why? I would obviously live in Australia so I could ride in a kangaroo’s pouch. If you could bring three things with you to a deserted island, what would they be? Bear Grylls, Chuck Norris, and a camera crew. Why should we choose you to be Mr. Washington Twp. 2011? Reg Torrevillas You should choose me to be Mr. WT because my dance moves are hypnotizing. Just like “Mr. April” Biggie Smalls’ words. Reggie from Rocket Power What quote best describes your outlook on life? “Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.” Childhood aspiration vs. current aspiration? I wanted to play professional basketball when I was like 5, but I now realize that that is completely out of the question and is nowhere near possible in any shape or form. I now just hope to make a living in something I love to do. If could address any issue the world faces today, what would it be? Let’s get out of this recession! That would be a start. What person in your life has had the most impact on you as a person? My brother John, I learn new things from him every single day without even realizing it. If you could be any vegetable, what would you be? Probably a pickle, because they’re basically just chilling in a pool at all times. What would be your advice to underclassmen concerning high school? Stay around people you know you can trust, and have as much fun as possible because it’s all over before you know it! Has the Mr. Washington Township nomination changed your life? My dancing is borderline ridiculous, yet I strut like no other. What is the number one thing you look for in a significant other? Limbs. If you could change the mascot, what would it be? A dancing bowl of fruit punch. Oh yeah! Favorite subject in school? Why? US History II because we listen to Springsteen, watch “Forrest Gump,” and get taught by the oh-so-charming Mr. Saia. Has the Mr. Washington Township nomination changed your life? Pete Spatocco Nope, just the past three months. “Mr. July” If you could live anywhere besides the US, where would it be and why? Phil from Rugrats Russia, because according to Rebecca Black, “Everybody’s Rush’in!” Describe yourself in three words: Tall, Lanky, Swag. What quote best describes your outlook on life? “Live as if you’ll die today, dream as if you’ll live forever” Celebrity Crush Justin Bieber <3 Childhood aspiration vs. current aspiration? Everyone wanted to be policemen or firemen or a vet or something worthwhile. Me? I just wanted to be the best Pokemon trainer there was. And I still plan on being the best. Like no one ever was. What is the number one thing you look for in a significant other? Honesty. I’d rather hear the most hurtful truth possible than the most beautiful lie. If you could bring three things with you to a deserted island, what would they be? Girls, the sickest jams, and a warehouse to host a huge dance party.
