COMPETITION RULES The competitions will be carried out according to the UIPM Biathle Rules and UIPM Triathle Rules (click the name). Running: paved esplanade Swimming: sea area Shooting: 22+2 laser targets (Manufacturer: Simpower). Notes: 1) There will be qualifications rounds depending on the registered participant’s numbers in each age category. If qualification rounds are required for any category, they will be the first races with the finals at the end of the day. 2) For Youth E, D, C and Masters D, C the shooting distance will be 5 meters. 3) Delegations are allowed to enter with unlimited number of athletes. COMPETITION VENUES The competitions are scheduled to occur at Batumi Boulevard. Course information and maps will be sent shortly to all Nations by e-mail. COMPETITION CLOTHING For Modern Biathle and Triathle competitions, athletes should wear a swimsuit or tight-fitting one-piece body suit capable of being worn for each segment of the competition. Due to the format of the races, athletes are required to compete wearing clothes that are tight fitting, yet comfortable during the action. Women should wear one or two pieces of clothing suitable for the entire race (swim suit or sports bra). We ask that male competitors wear a tight fitting shirt “bolero” (Lycra t-shirt) to be worn along the sports action. All athletes must have their nation identification on swimsuit. Deadline for accommodation booking is 16 August 2015. TRANSPORT Based on your Flight details we will provide transportation from/to Batumi International Airport/ Makhinjauri train station/ Batumi bus Terminal (included in accommodation cost). Delegations arriving Trabzon (Turkey)/ Kutaisi/ Tbilisi airports should contact LOC on transfer arrangements or arrange their own transportation to Batumi. Through LOC the transfer cost will vary 10-25 Euro per person depending on transfer direction and amount of the group. Please choose in UIPM portal the arrival/departure city as well as contact LOC on transfer arrangements. The Hotels are situated in walking distance (5-10 min) to the competitions area. Nations coming by their own mini-buses/cars, please note vehicles' number plates in Entry Form to arrange parking places at Hotels and competitions venues. Notes: Batumi International Airport – 10 min by bus to Batumi Kutaisi International Airport – 2,5 hours by bus to Batumi Trabzon International Airport (Turkey) – 2,5 hours by bus to Batumi Tbilisi International Airport – 5 hours by bus to Batumi FINANCIAL CONDITIONS For delegations (athletes, coaches, officials, supporters) reserving the accommodation package, the prices are as follows: EUR 135 for a single room per night per person EUR 105 for a double room per night per person EUR 90 for a triple room per night per person (double bed + extra bed) This price includes full board accommodation, accreditation, shuttle from/to Batumi International Airport / Makhinjauri train station / Batumi bus Terminal, cultural programme. ENTRY FEES Biathle 90 Euros Triathle 90 Euros Biathle & Triathle 140 Euros Mix Relay 90 Euros (per Team) Coach/Official 90 Euros Gala Dinner 30 Euros For competitors, coaches and officials, Fee includes Accreditation, Commemorative T-shirt and gifts, Gala Dinner (Sunday) Gala Dinner Fee is for Friends/Guests/Family members By August 16, 2015, a non-refundable 50 % deposit must be sent to the LOC after which you will receive an invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your delegation. Otherwise, the reservation will not be guaranteed. The remaining 50% we kindly ask you to send by bank transfer by September 1, 2015. Registration fee can be paid on arrival with cash or by bank transfer before arrival. Training Camp can be arranged by LOC starting on any day before the competitions. 2) We also would like to inform that on 14th September (Monday) pre-race competitions will take place on the set up for World Championships FOP. Please contact LOC in regard of training camp arrangements as well as pre-race participation. DEADLINES Delegations are kindly reminded that the UIPM Online registration system is obligatory. It is reminded that all athletes must have a UIPM ID number in order to be registered, therefore if your athletes do not already have an ID number, then the first step is to add them to the database through your NF portal. The online system will be open from 15 July 2015. All information must be submitted, including flight information, pistol serial numbers, accommodation bookings, etc. by 16 August 2015. Any changes after this must be sent by email to the organiser. We would appreciate early confirmation of your intention to participate or not and submit this by email to [email protected] before 25 July 2015. Deadlines are as follows: Participation Confirmation before 25 July 2015 Deadline to send 50% deposit 16 August 2015 Closure of Registration 16 August 2015 Closure of Accommodation booking 16 August 2015 Full payment 1 September 2015 If we do not receive complete information of your delegation prior to closure of the registration system or we do not receive your Delegation’s deposit payment and full payment, then we will consider your delegation as non-participating. VISAS & VACCINATIONS Georgia is very welcome country which doesn't require Visa for most of the nations (see the list of non-visa nations here: https://www.geoconsul.gov.ge/en/nonvisa_en.html). However, visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into Georgia prior travelling to the event. The organizers cannot accept responsibility for arranging visas but will be happy to supply a letter of invitation to those National Federations requesting one. If you need further information about visas or vaccinations please contact your nearest Embassy or Consulate. INSURANCE According UIPM Rules all members of the attending Delegations must insure themselves by a sufficient health, accident and liability insurance. The organizers will not accept any responsibility financial or otherwise for loss, injury or illness of any Delegation member. By submitting the competition entry the National Federation confirms that all persons named on the entry are covered by such insurance. FIREARMS Firearms Licenses are not legal requirement when bringing air and CO2 pistols (cylinders for the laser pistols) to Georgia for competition purposes. However, please note the pistol model and serial number clearly in your Entry Form. GENERAL INFORMATION All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official Delegation uniform at the competitions. Official hashtag of the competitions is #BiathleTriathleWCH. Please advise your athletes to use it in Social Media while posting photos related to 2015 UIPM Biathle and Triathle World Championships.
