Here’s to a successful finish to august. It’s a nice feeling coming in to a home game off the back of a solid away win. To go away to Harrow at any stage of the season & come away 4-0 winners is some serious going, so the lads deserve credit for that performance. Special shout out to Luke Burbidge too for producing the goal of the season so far, wow!!! Also to Sam Jackson who stepped in for his first start with a top defensive performance. What we do know though is it means nothing if that result isn’t backed up today. I know as well as anyone that if we want to be at the top end of the table come the end of the season you have to string together positive results. It can’t be stop start. So that’s exactly what we’ll be aiming to do today. ‘We know We know Dorchester will be a tough contest, it’s a local derby, fingers crossed we’ll have a good crowd & a good game to entertain you Dochester guys. They have had a mixed start to the season but most recently had a great win at Hendon and I am sure they will be full of confi dence today. Dorchester our a club I have great a ection for and I have been sorry to see them struggle in recent years. Hopefully apart from today they can do well under their new management and give their supporters some much deserved success. bigger crowd today and a vocal support for the players. It really does help. Our last home game was a real set back. We started well and dominated possession and I am trying to add one or two players to the chances for the fi rst part of the game and squad but as ever geographical and fi nancial deservedly went in front. We then responded constraints make life di cult at times. I was badly to that and allowed Farnborough to very keen on taking a local player from a full have to much possession and territory and time club on loan but his wages as a full time they scored two quick goals. I was confi dent player were way out of reach. I was hoping we would respond in the second half but we for a compromise but then a club in our seemed devoid of determination and spirit league o ered to cover his full wages so he and it was painful for me to watch.
