COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE Open Air Festival Terres Rouges 2014: Le COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE Open air Festival Terres Rouges 2014: Le line-up complet ! Esch-sur-Alzette, le 3 juin 2014. Le Comité d’organisation du festival culturel Terres Rouges a le grand plaisir de pouvoir vous annoncer le line up complet de l’édition 2014 de l’Open air Festival. Morcheeba, Laura Mvula et Zero Point 5 rejoindront Aloe Blacc, Milow et les Crystal Fighters, déjà présentés début avril. Rappelons que cette nouvelle édition du festival culturel terres Rouges aura lieu du 5 au 7 septembre 2014 avec l’Open air le 7 septembre, à partir de 14h00, au « Gaalgebierg », à Esch-sur-Alzette. Les tickets, à un prix favorable de seulement 28 €, sont disponibles dans les lieux de prévente habituels (E-Ticket, Luxembourg-Ticket, Ticket Regional, Ticketnet, Ticketservice, Syndicat d’Initiative). Morcheeba, groupe de musique britannique originaire de Douvres, mélange downtempo, trip hop, rhythm and blues et pop. Il est formé des frères Paul Godfrey (DJ) et Ross Godfrey (guitare et clavier) ainsi que de la chanteuse Skye Edwards. Skye Edwards a quitté le groupe en 2003, en raison de divergences musicales, selon les membres du groupe. Elle a été remplacée en 2005, pour l'album The Antidote par la chanteuse Daisy Martey. Daisy Martey a quitté le groupe en juin 2005 et a été remplacée par la choriste/saxophoniste australienne Jody Sternberg. En 2008, pour la sortie de l'album Dive Deep, c'est la chanteuse française Amanda Zamolo, découverte via MySpace, qui est la chanteuse principale. Skye Edwards fait son retour dans la formation en 2010 pour le septième album Blood Like Lemonade. Depuis 1995 ils ont sortis 8 albums dont 2 ont atteint le Top 10 des ventes britanniques. Morcheeba, are a British band, mixing influences from trip hop, rock, adult contemporary, folk- rock and downtempo. The band consists of brothers Paul Godfrey (DJ) and Ross Godfrey (guitar and keyboards) joined by singer Skye Edwards. Skye Edwards left the band in 2003, for musical differences, as reported by members of the band. On the album The Antidote, she was replaced by singer Daisey Martey. Daisy Martey left the band in 2005 and was replaced with Australian backing singer/saxophone player Jody Sternberg. For the album Dive Deep in 2008, French singer Amanda Zamolo who was discovered via MySpace became the lead singer. Skye Edwards returns to the band in 2010 for the album Blood like Lemonade. They have produced eight albums since 1995, two of which reached the UK top ten. Laura Mvula est une chanteuse britannique de soul, originaire de Birmingham. Son premier album Sing to the Moon est sorti le 4 mars 2013. À 25 ans elle est déjà connue dans toute l'Europe. Elle écrit sa musique à partir de l'enseignement classique et religieux qu'elle a reçus quelques années plus tôt. Laura Mvula est née dans une famille d'immigrés des Jamaïque et Saint-Kitts. Elle est l'aînée de trois enfants. Elle a étudié au Conservatoire de Birmingham et a obtenu un diplôme en composition. Elle y rencontre également son mari, Themba Mvula, un ténor d'origine zambienne. Après avoir signé avec RCA Records, Laura Mvula sort un Extended play She en novembre 2012 et son premier album Sing to the Moon sort en mars 2013 au Royaume- Uni. Elle est accompagnée sur scène de cinq musiciens (également chanteurs) dont son frère au violoncelle et sa sœur au violon. La musique pop et soul de cette «chanteuse surdouée» se caractérise par des orchestrations très travaillées et l'usage d'instruments classiques. Laura graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire at the Birmingham City University with a degree in composition. Laura is married to singer Themba Mvula. After several showcases, Laura Mvula was signed by RCA. She released her debut extended play, She, in November 2012 and her debut studio album, Sing to the Moon, was released in March 2013. Sing to the Moon reached number 9 on the UK Albums Chart and within the top 100 in several other countries. Laura Mvula won awards for best female act and best R&B or soul artist at the 2013 MOBO Awards. In March 2014, Mvula re-recorded an orchestral version of her debut album, Sing to the Moon, in collaboration with the Metropole Orchestra and Jules Buckley.
