RAINER LASKOWSKI Die Abschnittsbefestigung auf dem Kitzenhardt bei Bad Honnef, Rhein-Sieg-Kreis Im Jahre 1962 wurde im Rheinischen Landesmuseum Bonn ein ältereranonymer Hinweis auf gegriffen, der zur Wiederentdeckung einer wichtigen Wallanlage führte. 'Nach einer andeuten den Bleistiftsignatur“ auf einem alten Meßtischblatt wurde im Gelände ein ’Ringabschnittswall“ festgestellt und erstmals beschrieben1. Die Wallanlage liegt auf einem Sporn ca. 1500 m östlich der Ortsmitte von Bad Honnef im Staatsforst Siegburg, 80 m über der Sohle des vom Ohbach durchflossenen Schmelztales. Der Sporn liegt auf der östlichen Talseite und ist von Ost nach West gerichtet. Er fällt im Norden, Westen und Süden steil ab, im Osten geht er langsam ansteigend in den breiten Rücken des Wingsberges über. Er wird im Norden und Westen vom Ohbach umflossen und Kitzenhardt genannt. Die Befestigung besteht aus einem Vorwall, dem Abschnittswall mit vorgelagerter Berme und Graben sowie einer weiteren, randlichen Befestigung entlang des Innenraumes. Demnach handelt es sich um eine Abschnittsbefestigung oder - genauer - um eine sog. Ringab schnittsbefestigung2. Sie wurde im Jahre 1979 erstmals vermessen (Abb. 1). Der Vorwall liegt am Fuße des Wingsberges, 300 m östlich der Hauptanlage. Er sperrt den Bergrücken bei206 m über NN auf einer Breite von insgesamt 80 m ab. Der Wall zieht zunächst quer über den Rük- ken des Spornes 30 m weit in südsüdöstlicher Richtung und biegt an der Hangkante nach Süd südwesten um. Im Hang selbst ist er noch 50 m weit feststellbar. Die Wallbreite beträgt 6 m, die Wallhöhe 1 m. Vor dem Wall hegt ein 5 m breiter und 1 m tiefer Graben (Abb. 2, Profil A - B).

Thinking of North Rhine-Westphalia also means thinking of the big rivers, of the grassland, the forests, the lakes that stretch between the Eifel hills and the Teutoburg Forest range. The most important rivers flowing at least partially through North Rhine-Westphalia include: the Rhine, the Ruhr, the Ems, the Lippe, and the Weser.

Zahlen und Fakten ... auf einen Blick 2018 Der Rhein-Sieg-Kreis zählt aufgrund seiner Größe, seiner wirt- schaftlichen Entwicklung und seiner vielfältigen Landschaftsstruk- tur zu den bedeutendsten, reizvollsten und interessantesten Kreisen Deutschlands. Seine heutige Gestalt und seinen Namen erhielt der Rhein-Sieg-Kreis 1969, als dem früheren Siegkreis Teile des aufge- lösten Landkreises Bonn hinzugefügt wurden. In den Folgejahren hat der Rhein-Sieg-Kreis mit seinen 19 Städ- ten und Gemeinden eine Entwicklung genommen, die man als nahe- zu einzigartig in der Bundesrepublik bezeichnen kann. It was the first time that he had woven the human voice into a sym- phony tapestry, just as Beethoven had done in his Ninth. We have chosen these hope- filled lines as the motto of our 2021 Beet- hovenfest. Beethoven’s Ninth will resound at the beginning, Mahler’s ‘Resurrec- tion’ Symphony at the close. Beethoven’s final pronouncement at one end, Mahler’s continuation and glorification at the other. In its genesis, the Ninth is closely connected with the ‘Missa solemnis’. For this reason the ‘Missa’ will already be presented in Cologne Ca thedral in May – not without a surprising interlude. Cologne will also host an international youth orchestra venturing to play ‘Gruppen’, a monu- mental, spatially conceived work by Karlheinz Stockhausen. The orchestral works to be heard at the 2021 Beethovenfest are marked by a penchant for the universal and the spiritual. Among them will be Schubert and Bruckner ‘favourites’ played by the Vienna Philharmonic, and Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem and Stravinsky’s ‘Sym- phony of Psalms’, performed by the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées. Major birthdays can also be celebrated ex post facto.

Ordnungsbehördliche Verordnung über die Festsetzung des Fisch- und Laichschonbezirks „Rhein-Fischschutzzonen zwischen Emmerich und Bad Honnef, Teilabschnitte im Regierungsbezirk Köln“ in den Städten Bad Honnef, Königswinter, Bornheim und Niederkassel im Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, Bundesstadt Bonn und Stadt Köln vom 30.03.2006 Aufgrund des § 44 Abs. 1 Buchstabe a) und b) und Abs. 2 des Fischereigesetzes für das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen (Landesfischereigesetz - LFischG) in der Fassung der Bekanntmachung vom 22. Juni 1994 (GV. NRW. S. 516), zuletzt geändert durch Gesetz vom 16. Dezember 2003 (GV. NRW. S. 766), sowie aufgrund der §§ 12 und 27 des Gesetzes über Aufbau und Befugnisse der Ordnungsbehörden – Ordnungsbehördengesetz (OBG) – in der Fassung der Bekanntmachung vom 13. Mai 1980 (GV. NW. S. 528), zuletzt geändert durch Gesetz vom 16. März 2004 (GV. NRW.
