Celtic Fusion Band Stonecircle to Perform Outdoor Concert with Special Guests Crawford School of Irish Dance

WHAT: WorldStage! Outdoor Concerts at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.

WHEN: Monday, July 21. Doors open at 7 p.m. Concert starts at 8 p.m.

WHO: All of the WorldStage! Outdoor Concerts are FREE for EVERYONE

WHY: Stonecircle is a vibrant five-piece, band that has been performing acoustic Celtic fusion music in the United States since 1993. In addition to performing its own arrangements of traditional tunes from , , , and , Stonecircle also writes original instrumental and vocal tunes in the Celtic style and performs them with passionate energy and clarity of sound. Stonecircle music is a language of haunting melodies and energetic, driving tunes; the goal of the band has always been to create a musical experience that is exhilarating, ethereal, and beautifully uplifting.

The Crawford School of Irish Dance is directed by Jill Crawford, TCRG. Ms. Crawford is nationally certified by the Irish Commission in good standing and registered with the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America. The school has performed a number of times with the world renowned Chieftains, Cherish the Ladies, Utah Symphony and, most recently, the Olympic events at Washington Square and Olympic Village.

While you’re at the concert, don’t miss The Wild Life of Dollores Shelledy, an outdoor sculpture exhibit of life-size zoo animals dramatically displayed outdoors on the Cultural Center Plaza.
