Domani, sabato 19 marzo, si correrà la 107ª edizione della gara ciclistica Milano-Sanremo. Come da tradizione, i corridori partiranno alle ore 10,10 in via della Chiesa Rossa nel capoluogo lombardo. Il traguardo, dallo scorso anno, è stato riportato in via Roma, dove si sono concluse le edizioni comprese tra il 1949 e il 1985 e tra il 1994 e il 2007, a due soli chilometri dalla fine della discesa del Poggio; il tragitto avrà unalunghezza complessiva di 291 chilometri. L’ingresso in Liguria, in provincia di Genova, è previsto intorno alle 13,13; l’ingresso in provincia di Savona intorno alle 14,15, ipotizzando una media di 42 km/h. I plurivincitori della corsa sono Eddy Merckx con 7 vittorie; Costante Girardengo con 6; Gino Bartali e Erik Zabel con 4; Fausto Coppi, Roger De Vlaeminck e Óscar Freire con 3 successi; Gaetano Belloni, Alfredo Binda, Giuseppe Olmo, Miguel Poblet, Laurent Fignon e Loretto Petrucci con 2.     Biomatematický model 2017 – BinckBank Tour – 2. etapa Po delší době je tu vhodná časovka a s ní opět Biomatemetický model. Druhá etapa BinckBank Tour (pro nás známější díky celkovému vítězství Zdeňka Štybara v roce 2013 pod původním názvem Eneco tour) pro jezdce představovala 9 rovinatých kilometrů na úzké městské trati, které absolvovali za mokra, resp. s postupně se horšícími podmínkami. Z českých elitních jezdců je letos ve startovním poli jen Petr Vakoč (Quick‐Step Floors) a trať zvládl velice dobře, dokonce o tři příčky porazil i legendárního Tonyho Martina (Katusha – Alicin), pro kterého to byla věru další hořká časovka letošní sezóny. Vzhledem k tomu, že se startovalo v opačném pořadí dle výsledků první etapy, Tony vyrážel na trať před Petrem a tedy papírově za lepších podmínek, takže od Petra rozhodně velmi dobrý výkon!
