Plug and Play In PC mode, the controller is fully mappable as a normal and supports rumble after quick installation of drivers by Mayflash's website. I A great alternative for the WiiU adapter. No drivers needed to be have used this adapter with two versions of (with rumble support!!), , and : each program worked great with the installed, just plug and play. controller. In Wii U mode, this works great with , a GameCube/Wii , once you follow the directions on the Dolphin website. I bought this to see if I could get it to work with RetroPie on a Raspberry Pi 2. In the end I did, thankfully! I nearly gave up trying to do so, but Plug & Play! it's not too bad to get it working. You can choose this or you can download a few drivers to use it in wii u mode with Search Customer Reviews dolphin. Doing the latter option gives you a flawless experience that is identical to a real gc. Even if you use PC mode the inputs are still a Search nearly perfect DInput emulation of a gc controller.

Mac experience: Sometimes I like to play on the go. It is much harder to get wii u mode to work on mac. I have macbook that is owned by my school, so i do not have permission to install drivers. This worried me before buying, but PC mode worked out of the box on Mac as well.

Works great... once I got it set up By Amazon Customer on August 25, 2016 Size: 1 Pack Verified Purchase Works exactly as intended with no lag/delay in the controls. The only reason I took off a star is that I had a lot of difficulty getting it working properly. On a laptop PC, I had to download a different firmware as a driver from Mayflash, and download a different program called Zadig to get my to actually use that new driver. On top of that, I have to keep my adapter in WiiU mode even though I use a PC for some reason. I use the Dolphin GC Emulator and there's instructions on how to do that on their website. I know compatibility is tricky, but it took me about an hour to get all that figured out and actually start playing. If I weren't somewhat tech-savvy there's no way I would have gotten this to work, hence why I only gave 4 stars for the inconvenience. It seems like other people have just been able to plug it in and play, so maybe it's just my computer, who knows. Just giving my experience.

works great! By scott on March 9, 2017 Size: 1 Pack Verified Purchase got this for our wiiu and it works with no problems. figured since it has the pc switch on it id try it for that too. i dont have the dolphin that has been mentioned a lot but i do play games off of steam which is where i wanted to use it. i had to look up a couple videos but it really wasn't that hard to get it to work with my steam games. you really dont even have to computer genius either. just look up the how toos on youtube. as im at work and not at my home computer I dont remember exactly the programs i needed to make them work with my steam games but what the program did was convert my game cube controller buttons to xbox controller buttons. i guess steam only wants xbox controllers. so the program converts the game cube to that. I haven't experience any lag or anything its been great! now my wife joins me in playing games :) yes i could have just got another xbox controller but I already had this and a couple controllers. this works great!
