Further information on each workshop can be found on page 8 onwards or alternatively you can click on the title of the workshop and this will take you to the information. STEP 2 Book your workshops: Follow the link provided on the timetable to book onto the workshop. You will need to book onto each workshop individually. The workshops are limited to 20 places. If the workshop is fully booked please select another workshop or date. N.B please only book onto the workshop when you are 100% committed to attending as places are limited. STEP 3 Make payment Once you have booked your workshops you will need to make payment. The costs are as follows: • £30 for half a day • £60 for a full day (this can be split over 2 days) • £120 for 2 full days (these do not need to be consecutive days) To pay you need to click on the relevant link provided on page 24 which will take you to a booking page. He is also a visiting Professor at the University of Sunderland. His special interests lie in Recruitment and Selection of trainees, ensuring assessment procedures complement rather than replace teaching, and supporting trainees whose place of graduation is outside the UK. He is also an avid if rather slow cyclist, and writer of mediocre pantomimes… but most of you knew that anyway… Dr Robert Carter 6 November 9:30-10:30 21 November 9:30-10:30 Associate Director, Recruitment & Selection, Health Education England. I have been a GP for 28 years – 21 of these in Barnard Castle – and a trainer for 19 years. I was a TPD on the Northumbria programme from 2006 and moved to be an Associate Director with HEE in 2014. I lead on recruitment to the GP training programmes in the North East and Cumbria, and am also involved with the GP National Recruitment team Since 2016 I have also been working to develop Training Hubs as part of the national initiative – the aim of which is to work with Primary Care to produce the wider workforce fit for purpose.
