STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES Event Document: 45 2020 INTERNATIONAL VIRGIN AUSTRALIA SUPERCARS CHAMPIONSHIP RACES 16, 17 & 18 “CORESTAFF DARWIN SUPERSPRINT” Hidden Valley Raceway, Darwin, Northern Territory 21st to 23rd August 2020 STEWARDS SUMMARY OF JUDICIAL OUTCOMES, Update Final: Issued Sunday 23rd August 2020 at 1730hrs. Sunday 23rd August 2020 Matters from Race 18: Race Director Incident Determinations During the Race the RD conducted an investigation at the request of Triple Eight Race Engineering into an Incident at Turn 4 on Lap 35 when Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, overtook Car #97, Shane van Gisbergen, and contact occurred between the two Cars. After reviewing broadcast footage of the Incident and consulting the DSA, the RD determined that there was no evidence of a breach of the Rules by the Driver of Car #18. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards imposed a 5 second Time Penalty on Car #12, Fabian Coulthard, for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Schedule B2 (Careless Driving) following contact between Car #12 and Car #2, Bryce Fullwood, at Turn 14 on Lap 15 as a result of which Car #2 was pushed wide and Car #12 gained a position. Matters from Race 17: Race Director Incident Determinations There were no determinations. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards issued the following Penalties during the Race in each case for a breach of Article 2.1.1 of Shcedule B2 (Careless Driving): - A 5 second Time Penalty on Car #55, Jack le Broq, arising out of an Incident at Turn 6 on Lap 23 when Car #55 locked brakes attempting to overtake Car #15, Rick Kelly, causing contact with Car #15 as a result of which Car #55 gained a position; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #25, Chaz Mostert, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 34 when Car #25 made contact with Car #8, Nick Percat, as a result of which Car #8 spun and lost positions; - A 15 second Time Penalty on Car #35, Garry Jacobson, arising out of an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 37 when Car #35 made contact with Car #3, Macauley Jones, which caused Car #3 to spin. -

We will continue to offer contingency support to racers for the following: SCORE Off-Road Racing Series, Best in the Desert Off-Road Racing Series, MORE Desert Racing Series, SNORE Desert Racing Series, Texas Desert Racing Association Series, and MORR Sports- man Off-Road Racing Series. NEW! $500 UTV Class awards added for 2019! For the last two seasons, Weddle Industries has been working closely with UTV rac- ers to identify specific UTV transaxle and front differential issues. Together, we have developed a specialized UTV Race Prep to keep Can-Am and Polaris transaxles at top race performance. To support our growing number of UTV customers, we have added UTV classes for SCORE and BITD to our contingency program. Registered UTV racers who have had their transaxle serviced or Race Prepped/REM polished by Weddle Industries are eligible for our contingency awards. Customers that would like to send their gears in for our Weddle UTV Race Prep/REM polishing will also be eligible for contingency awards. Please see below for additional details of our race contin- gency program. SCORE and BITD CLASS 10 awards NOW $500! In the last few seasons, the level of competition in Class 10 has really stepped up. Just like competing in the Unlimited Classes, winning Class 10 now requires a perfect race and an incredibly high level of preparation. To reward all the hard-working Weddle-equipped Class 10 teams, we have raised our Class 10 contingency awards to $500 to match Ulimited Classes. -

Matters from Race 14: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations During the Race the DRD conducted an investigation into an Incident at the exit of Turn 6 on Lap 3 when Car #19, Fabian Coulthard, made contract with the rear of Car #96, Macauley Jones, as a result of which Car #96 spun and lost positions. After reviewing broadcast footage and consulting the DSA, the DRD determined that no breach of the Rules was observed – Car #96 left no room for Car #19 on the outside of Car #96 at the exit of Turn 6. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The Stewards imposed the following Penalties during the Race: • A 15 Second Time Penalty for Car #99, Brodie Kostecki, for Careless Driving after an Incident at Turn 1 on Lap 5 when Car #99 made contact with the rear of Car #4, Jack Smith, as a result of which Car #4 spun and lost positions; • A 15 Second Time Penalty for Car #14, Todd Hazelwood, for Careless Driving after an Incident at Turn 6 on Lap 31 when Car #14 made contact with the rear of Car #26 and pushed Car #26. Car #14 failed to yield for Car #26 and made further contact with Car #26 at, and after, the apex of Turn 6 causing Car #26 to spin and lose positions. -

GTM has been running a Forza Motorsports Virtual Racing League (VRL) since 2016 and has evolved through several exciting series and versions. We’ve developed this rulebook to try and cover different types of scenarios we’ve encountered throughout our experiences running the various series. These rules help us keep our racing clean and fun. Matters from Race 19: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations The DRD investigated the following incidents and determined they did not warrant referral to the Stewards: • Request from Erebus Motorsport complaining that Car 3 did not leave racing room for Car 99 on exit of Turn 3 on Lap 26. • Request from Erebus Motorsport complaining that Car 18 did not leave racing for Car 99 at the exit of Turn 11 on Lap 28. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The following penalties were imposed during Race 19: • A 5 second Time Penalty on Car 2, Bryce Fullwood, for a Pit Lane Infringement (unsafe pit release). • A 15 second Time Penalty on Car 3, Tim Slade, for a Driving Infringement (failing to leave racing room for Car 2 on the exit of Turn 13 on Lap 25). Following a post-race DRD investigation into a report received from Supercars Technical during the Race, and an admission by Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd, that during its compulsory pit stop, Car 35’s brake lock mechanism was not engaged in compliance with Rule C11.4.2.1, the Stewards imposed a fine of $250 on Matt Stone Racing Pty Ltd. Following a post-race DRD investigation (instigated following a request received from Blanchard Racing) and an admission of a breach of the Code of Driving Conduct by Car 2, Bryce Fullwood, the Stewards imposed a penalty of the addition of 5 seconds to the Race Time of Car 2 in Race 19. -

Matters from Qualifying for Race 1: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations Following the Session the DRD received a request for investigation from Triple Eight Race Engineering (Australia) Pty Ltd alleging that Car #55, Chaz Mostert, and Car #78, Simona de Silvestro, impeded Car #97, Shane van Gisbergen, between Turns 11 and 14 . Following a review of Judicial Camera Footage from Car #97, no Breach of Rules was observed. Following the Session the DRD conducted an investigation at the request of Chasports Racing Pty Ltd into an allegation that Car #3, Garry Jacobsen, impeded Car #18, Mark Winterbottom, on entry to Turn 1. The DRD was also requested to investigate Car #18’s ‘kerb strike’ and loss of time on the relevant Lap. Following a review of Judicial Camera Footage from Car #18, no Breach of Rules by Car #3 was observed. Following a review of external (HawkEye) vision to corroborate the Supercars Timing System, Car #18 was found to have breached Schedule B2 Article 3.3.1 (left the Race Track at Turn 2 by reason that no part of the Car remains in contact with it). -

Matters from Race 11: Deputy Race Director Incident Determinations During the Race, the DRD investigated the Incident on Lap 3 between Car 7, Andre Heimgartner, and Car 18, Mark Winterbottom, consulted the DSA, and determined that it did not warrant referral to the Stewards because no Driver was wholly or predominately to blame for the Incident. After the Race, the DRD investigated the Incident on Lap at Turns 2-3 between Car 22, Garry Jacobson, and Car 9, Will Brown, consulted the DSA, and determined that it did not warrant referral to the Stewards because no Driver was wholly or predominately to blame for the Incident. Stewards’ Decisions – Penalties imposed The following penalties were imposed during Race 11: • A 5 second Time Penalty on Car 35, Zane Goddard, for a Pit Lane Infringement (contact with Car 55, Thomas Randle following Car 35’s release from its Pit Bay, in breach of Schedule B2, Article 7.5). • A 15 second Time Penalty on Car 27, Kurt Kostecki, for a Driving Infringement (contact with Car 96, Macauley Jones, at Turn 3 on Lap 7 in breach of Schedule B2, Article 2.1 Careless Driving). • A PLP on Car 27, Kurt Kostecki, for a Pit Lane Infringement (Car 27 entered the Pit Lane and its speed was measured at 54km/h by the Pit Entry loops D11.4.2 Speed Limit is 40 km/h in Pit Lane at all times).
