Head Coach Tim Mulqueen Tim Mulqueen was named the inaugural Memphis 901 FC Head Coach on August 15, 2018. Mulqueen brings vast expertise and over two decades of coaching experience to The Bluff City. He most recently served as assistant coach for Orlando City Soccer Club of from Jan. 2017 until this summer. Mulqueen also coached in MLS with the Kansas City Wizards, now , from 2000-04 and the New York/New Jersey MetroStars, now the New York Red Bulls, from 1996-99. The ties between Mulqueen and Memphis 901 FC advisor and soccer legend run deep, as Howard credits Mulqueen with getting his career started at the age of 12, when Mulqueen took notice of his immense talent and drive and welcomed Howard to train for free at his skills clinic in Metuchen, N.J. It all came full circle when Mulqueen then coached Howard professionally with the MetroStars at the onset of his pro career, which eventually developed into one of the finest in American soccer history. In addition to his MLS coaching experience, Mulqueen was the goalkeepers coach for the United States at the 2005 and 200FIFA U-17 World Championships, the 2008 Summer Olympics, and the 2007 and 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cups.

Assistant Coach Ben Pirmann Ben Pirmann was named Memphis 901 FC Assistant Coach on December 13, 2018. Pirmann arrives in The Bluff City after spending six seasons as the head coach of Detroit City FC in the National Premier Soccer League and eight seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Michigan State University.

As head coach of DCFC, which boasts one of the largest fan bases in all of North America, Pirmann went 49-17-17, won a regular season title in 2013 and a Midwest Region championship in 2017, and helmed the club to three playoff appearances and two runs in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. His club took USL foe Louisville City FC to penalty kicks and then-USL side FC Cincinnati to extra time in the second round in 2016 and 2018, respectively.

Sporting Director Andrew Bell Andrew Bell, formerly of the Charleston Battery, was named the inaugural Memphis 901 FC Sporting Director on March 19, 2018.

Bell, who spent nearly 20 years with the ’s Battery, is tasked with handling all player and technical staff-related decisions and building the Memphis 901 FC Front Office.

A native of Wokingham, Berkshire, England, Bell began working for the Battery as its radio play-by- play announcer in 1999 after moving to the United States in 1995. He served in a variety of roles for the team, including Director of Marketing, Director of Sales, and President, which was the role he held most recently from 2008 until moving to Memphis.
