His background in coaching dates back to 1991 in England. While finishing his professional playing career in England, Tony began his coaching career as a player/coach with the semi-pro team Burnham FC and others. Eventually Tony immigrated to the US in 1998. He began working for the Atlanta Silverbacks Soccer club. Tony spent several years at the Silverbacks, working with both the men's and women's professional teams. Tony has continued to work for many professional and youth clubs since. Coach Tony's first joined the Atlanta Silverbacks Women's staff as interim head coach during the 2006 season and served as the assistant coach last year for the league finalists.
