June 2019 WOODSIDE NEWS CONTENTS BUDGET 2019-2020 Board Meeting Highlights 2 Two final drafts of the 2019-2020 budget were presented for board approval Manager’s Report 2 at the May 28 Board Meeting. One version had no dues increases and the Maintenance Report 2 other had dues increases with an average of $17. Comments from the floor supported this concept along with managing cost variables and outsourcing financial management support. The annual disclosures will be mailed out to the community with the revised fee schedule and detailed report. An allocation of $350,000 has been approved for the north hot water loop, and additional $60,000 for boiler replacement, in addition to repairs and improvements for campus-wide infrastructure. Financial lenders typically use specific criteria to review properties such as Woodside when processing major repair loans. A primary determining factor is the community’s ongoing attempt to increase or replenish reserve balances.
