ACADEMIC ADVISING Our Academic Advisor guides students who are interested in applying to a college or university in the United States. Every quarter students can attend an information session to assist them in understanding the American university system. In addition, a College Fair is held twice a year where students can obtain information and application materials from representatives of the many colleges and universities in San Diego.

STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES Registered international students at UC San Diego Extension have access to UC San Diego’s Student Health Services. The campus Student Health Services center provides quality primary medical care, including urgent care and support services such as laboratory, pharmacy, and x-ray. The Student Health Services center is located on campus and is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Service hours may vary.) For emergencies, students must go to Thornton Hospital, which is also located on campus.
