Mint in original box from Mappin & Webb jewelers, still in business today. 11 Pullman 1932 35 Meteor BF in Red Mottled Hard Rubber. Incredible pen, where the nib propels and retracts by $3000 pushing and pulling the barrel of the pen into and out of the cap. Not many survived, as they broke when folks tried to screw off the cap. Pullman (UK) licenced the technology to the La Plume D’Or company in France, who called their version “Meteor.” Correct “D & D Paris” medium/fine nib (Demley & Degan were the founders of the French company). As far as is now known, this is the only round sterling silver $6000 example known (I did sell an octagonal sterling silver model a few years ago). I have not polished the pen, but will do so on request. “Pullman” medium, extra-flexible nib. Clip has an engraved “P” logo in a circle. Near mint+ 14 Pullman 1932 BF in Smooth Gold-filled. “Pullman” broad, flexible, italic nib. Clip has an engraved “P” logo in a $3700 circle. GFT. Correct “Brenna” broad nib (Brenna was the founder of the UK $2250 Company). Upper part of the clip says “Patent.” while the lower part is imprinted “Brenna” (which matches the nib).
