  • When Is the Best Time to Go to Hong Kong?
Page 1 of 98 Chris’ Copyrights @ 2011 When Is The Best Time To Go To Hong Kong? Winter Season (December - March) is the most relaxing and comfortable time to go to Hong Kong but besides the weather, there's little else to do since the "Sale Season" occurs during Summer. There are some sales during Christmas & Chinese New Year but 90% of the clothes are for winter. Hong Kong can get very foggy during winter, as such, visit to the Peak is a hit-or-miss affair. A foggy bird's eye view of HK isn't really nice. Summer Season (May - October) is similar to Manila's weather, very hot but moving around in Hong Kong can get extra uncomfortable because of the high humidity which gives the "sticky" feeling. Hong Kong's rainy season also falls on their summer, July & August has the highest rainfall count and the typhoons also arrive in these months. The Sale / Shopping Festival is from the start of July to the start of September. If the sky is clear, the view from the Peak is great. Avoid going to Hong Kong when there are large-scale exhibitions or ongoing tournaments like the Hong Kong Sevens Rugby Tournament because hotel prices will be significantly higher. CUSTOMS & DUTY FREE ALLOWANCES & RESTRICTIONS • Currency - No restrictions • Tobacco - 19 cigarettes or 1 cigar or 25 grams of other manufactured tobacco • Liquor - 1 bottle of wine or spirits • Perfume - 60ml of perfume & 250 ml of eau de toilette • Cameras - No restrictions • Film - Reasonable for personal use • Gifts - Reasonable amount • Agricultural Items - Refer to consulate Note: • If arriving from Macau, duty-free imports for Macau residents are limited to half the above cigarette, cigar & tobacco allowance • Aircraft crew & passengers in direct transit via Hong Kong are limited to 20 cigarettes or 57 grams of pipe tobacco.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE 1. JYUTPING 1. wong4 daai6 sin1 CONT'D OVER CANTONESECLASS101.COM ADVANCED AUDIO BLOG S2 #19 - TOP TEN PLACES IN HONG KONG: WONG TAI SIN 2 2. zok3 wai4 jat1 go3 hau6 saang1 zai2,ngo5 sat6 zoi6 m4 nang4 gau3 wai4 bui3 loeng4 sam1 gong2 waa6 ngo5 jit6 oi3 zung1 gwok3 zyun4 tung2。jan1 wai6 zung1 gwok3 zyun4 tung2 wong5 wong5 zau6 ji3 mei6 zyu6 zou2 seoi6 zou2 hei2、haang4 saan1 haang4 syun2、fung1 gin3 mai4 seon3、zing2 gwai2 zing2 gwaai3、teng1 lou5 jan4 waa6、mou5 dak1 bok3 zeoi2。 3. daan6 ho2 sik1 zok3 wai4 jat1 go3 hau6 saang1 zai2,jung2 jau6 pong4 daai6 ge3 gaa1 zuk6,hai6 mou5 ho2 nang4 m4 heoi3 min6 deoi3 kap6 bei6 bik1 zip3 sau6 ni1 jat1 cai3 ge3。mui5 nin4 daai6 nin4 co1 jat1,ngo5 dou1 zan1 zing3 gam2 ling5 wui6 dou3 gong2 jan4 deoi3 wong4 daai6 sin1 ge3 sung4 baai3。mui5 nin4 ngo5 dou1 wui5 jat1 daai6 zou2 hei2 cong4——bei6 aa3 maa1 ce2 hei2 cong4,can1 zi6 heoi3 dou3 wong4 daai6 sin1——pui4 je4 je2 po4 po2 baa4 baa1 maa4 maa1,ji4 mui5 nin4 dou1 wui5 faat3 jin6 lai4 caam1 baai3 ge3 jan4 do1 dou3 baau3。 4.
