Purpose of Report To advise of correspondence received from Post Office Limited regarding developments with several branches of the Post Office in North Lanarkshire. 2. Developments Post Office Limited are consulting as part of their programme of investment, on a number of proposalsOffices:−Balloch regarding the undernoted Post and Croy Post Offices Post Office Limited are communicating with the Sub−Postmasters about the possibility of making some changes to these branches by investing in them to make them new modern local branches. Calderbank Post Office Members will recall a consultation on a proposal to modernise this branch and Post Office Limited have now confirmed that after consultation, they have finalised their plans and that the new look Post Office is scheduled to open at the current location on Monday, 9 February 2015 following closure on 4 February for refurbishment. Caldercruix Post Office Post Office Limited have confirmed that Caldercruix Post Office will be relocated from I Dunbreck Avenue to 9 Dunbreck Avenue, Caldercruix, Airdrie ML6 7PE. Glenboig Post Office Post Office Limited are consulting on proposals to relocate Glenboig Post Office from 55 Main Street, Glenboig to GNH Life Centre, 3 Main Street, Glenboig. Muirhouse Post Office Post Office Limited are consulting on the relocation of Muirhouse Post Office from 2 Muirhouse Road, Motherwell to Costcutters, 12 Muirhouse Road, Motherwell. New Stevenston Post Office Post Office Limited are consulting on proposals to relocate New Stevenston Post Office from 9 Carfin Street, New Stevenston to Salina Mini−Market, 29 Stevenston Street, Motherwell. i:\REP\P0NE1W0RKMS.D0cX North Motherwell Post Office Post Office Limited are consulting on proposals to relocate North Motherwell Post Office from 197 The Loaning, Motherwell to Spar, 148 Logans Road, Motherwell. Salsburgh Post Office Post Office Limited are consulting on proposals to relocate Salsburgh Post Office from 92 Main Street, Salsburgh to JP Mini−Market, 106 Main Street, Salsburgh. Stane Post Office Post Office Limited are consulting on proposals to relocate Stane Post Office from 7 Sandvale Place, Shotts to Wee 10 O'Clock Shop, 4 Sandvale Place, Shotts. 3. In terms of agreed procedures, the local Members for each area, where changes are proposed, have been consulted. 4. Recommendation It is recommended that Members note the arrangements for the aforementioned Post Offices.
