The descent below is for the “Marris of Burton Corner” line, so called the 1952 edition of Burke’s Landed Gentry. This is the line researched by Harold Colquhoun Marris OBE (1883-1966). Harold’s pedigree was accepted by Ulster Office, Dublin in 1938 and by the College of Arms in London shortly afterwards.
