Marquee Sports Network Announces Hiring of Jon Sciambi
MARQUEE SPORTS NETWORK ANNOUNCES JON SCIAMBI AS CHICAGO CUBS PLAY-BY-PLAY ANNOUNCER January 4, 2021 CHICAGO – Marquee Sports Network today announced the hiring of Jon “Boog” Sciambi as the Chicago Cubs television play-by-play announcer. Sciambi has served in numerous roles with ESPN since joining the network full- time in 2010, most prominently as the voice of ESPN Sunday Night Baseball for MLB on ESPN Radio, and as the regular play-by-play voice on Wednesday Night Baseball telecasts for ESPN since 2014. During his time at ESPN, Sciambi has contributed to ESPN Radio’s MLB World Series coverage as an on-site studio host, while providing post-game, on-field interviews for ESPN’s SportsCenter. He also has held play-by-play duties for both the College and Little League World Series. His time at the network dates to 2005, when he began doing play-by-play for select college basketball and MLB games, and he has continued in play-by-play for both sports during his tenure at ESPN. In addition to his play-by-play duties at Marquee, he will continue to serve as a multi- platform broadcaster for ESPN. Sciambi previously served as the lead play-by-play television announcer for the Atlanta Braves from 2007-2009 and as the radio voice of the Florida Marlins from 1997-2004. “We are excited to welcome Boog to the Marquee Network and the Cubs organization. 2011 MLB ALL-STAR GAME ON FOX Tuesday, July 12 - 8:00 PM ET - Live from Chase Field in Phoenix FOX Sports and MLB are proud to present baseball's brightest stars, all on one stage, Tuesday, July 12 (8:00 PM ET-conclusion) during the 82 nd Major League Baseball All-Star Game, live from Chase Field in Phoenix. It is the 13 th MLB All-Star Game broadcast by FOX Sports (1997, 1999, 2001-11), and all have been called by play-by-play announcer Joe Buck and analyst Tim McCarver (Bob Brenly worked with Buck & McCarver in 1997 & '99). McCarver, a two-time National League All-Star catcher with the Cardinals (1966 & 1967), is calling the 20 th All-Star Game of his Hall of Fame-worthy broadcasting career, the most by any broadcaster in history. The pairing of Buck and McCarver for 13 All-Star Games is also a record. The next closest duo are Curt Gowdy and Tony Kubek, who called a total of seven All-Star Games together from 1969 to 1975. FOX SPORTS GEARS UP FOR MLB PRIME TIME DEBUT WITH CULT HERO Veteran Major Leaguer Kevin Millar Joins Network As Pregame & Game Analyst New York & Los Angeles – The announcer lineup for FOX Sports’ 2010 Major League Baseball primetime coverage airing this Saturday, May 22 (7:00 PM ET) just got stronger with the addition of World Series Champion Kevin Millar. It was announced today by FOX Sports President and Executive Producer Ed Goren. Millar joins MLB on FOX’s Emmy Award-Winning coverage alongside host Chris Rose for pregame and in-game updates from FOX Sports’ Los Angeles studio during this Saturday’s prime time contests. On Saturday, June 5 , Millar brings his candid clubhouse presence and baseball prowess into the broadcast booth to call Brewers at Cardinals. FOX Sports’ lead play-by-play voice Joe Buck joins Millar for his first FOX game broadcast. Last postseason he contributed to MLB Network’s coverage and made his debut as an analyst for MLB Tonight this April. “Kevin was a clutch performer on the field and a unique personality off the field which makes him perfect for his new role here at FOX Sports,” said Goren. “Those qualities will definitely add a spark to our coverage while providing us with the top MLB broadcast lineup in the game.” Debuting in the major leagues in 1998 with the Florida Marlins, Millar went on to flourish in a Boston Red Sox uniform helping the franchise win its first World Series title since 1918 while becoming a fan favorite from 2003 – 2005. He then joined the Baltimore Orioles and finished his playing career with the Toronto Blue Jays. -

Dear Stephanie Rice, NPRA Project Manager, Bureau of Land Management: Defenders of Wildlife is submitting the following 14,639 signatures to the Bureau of Land Management on behalf of each of these individuals who are communicating their sincere and strong support to maintain the current protections in place for wildlife in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska ("Reserve"). The Reserve contains exceptional wildlife habitat for imperiled species, including polar bears, ringed and bearded seals, and spectacled and Steller's eiders. The Teshekpuk Lake Special Area in particular is home to thousands of molting geese and hundreds of thousands of shorebirds, as well as polar bears, caribou and other wildlife. There are already over 11 million acres open to oil and gas development in the Reserve, and there is considerable development already occurring as planned. There is no need to revise the management plan for the Reserve at this time.
