Welcome to Seville, Spain, the beautiful hosting city for the 15th Annual World Conference of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). Our vibrant community of professionals and students contributes to humankind all year long, and our annual conference gives us a treasured opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with our science, our values, and most importantly, friends and colleagues, new and old. It’s people like you that make up our organization, and I hope you benefit from - and contribute to - our community during the ACBS World Conference this year. In the Call for Submissions for ACBS 15, I quoted one of my favorite poems by Mary Oliver: “Can one be passionate about the just, the ideal, the sublime, and the holy, and yet commit to no labor in its cause?” In other words, can you truly say that you care about justice, diversity, reducing suffering while improving quality of living, and other core values without committed action? And wouldn’t embracing cutting edge science assist in your endeavors? Well, this year’s conference theme – Committed to Science – gives you the opportunity to collaborate with peers in our contextual behavioral science community to accelerate your skills with the basic principles and applied implementations of our work in order to help you live your core values. During this conference where we are all improving our committed action skills, and learning to help others with those same skills, may I invite you to make occasional commitments throughout this time together to truly connect with the moment. During our shared meals, or interactive workshops, or even at the Follies, can you take that present experience and simply be with it. When contacting those moments, also reflect on how you are serving your values by being here, while collaborating with and contributing to this community. Peer Reviewed ACT Trainers have committed to help others learn ACT with high fidelity and to work from a shared set of values. They are viewed as able to train ACT accurately, fully conveying the model both didactically and experientially. In the past this was evaluated by a committee of developers of ACT/RFT and now is evaluated by rigorous peer-review based on defined criteria. Trainers pay no fees to anyone in order to be placed on our list of trainers on the ACBS website. This list is not meant to be de facto certification: there are other trainers equally qualified who simply choose not to be on such a list (because, for example, they would rarely be available; they are primarily researchers or academics; they are still students; etc.). The operation, which was as thorough as it was indiscriminate, led to the internment of ten to twelve thousand people, men and women, young and old, “simply because they were Gypsies.” The co-ordination of the different public authorities involved, the co-operation of the Church, which remained passive in the face of such injustice, the excesses committed by all those who made the operation possible, and the collaboration of the prisoners’ fellow citizens and neighbours made “Black Wednesday”, as the round-up is also called, an unchallenged event in the long history of European anti-“Gypsyism”.     HALLAZGOS ROMANOS EN LA COMARCA DE ESTEPA AUXILIO MORENO ONORATO y JOSE M.a IDAREZ MARTIN INTRODUCCION Presentamos en este trabajo una serie de materiales arqueológicos integrados en la colección de D. Rafael Machuca (1), procedente de los términos municipales de Estepa y Lora de Estepa en la provincia de Sevilla. El conjunto que damos a conocer está circunscrito a la cerámica romana de dicha colección, cuyo interés arqueológico para valorar la ocupa­ ción romana de la zona nos ha movido a su documentación y publicación si bien somos conscientes de las limitaciones de tipo arqueológico que ofrece la recogida de estos ítems por parte de aficionados locales. La comarca de Estepa se encuentra situada en el ángulo Suroriental de la provincia de Sevilla. Participa de un doble paisaje morfoestructural: la campiña al norte y las primeras estribaciones de las Sierras Subbéticas al sur. La campiña pertenece a la llamada Depresión Bética, fosa tectónica rellenada con sedimentos Terciarios y Cuaternarios, predominando un paisaje de formas onduladas con la presencia de "cerros testigos" en algunas áreas mar­ ginales como la que nos ocupa. En la Sierra Subbética dominan los macizos calizos Meso­ zoicos, separados por pasillos transversales excavados en las margas triásicas, que comunican la campiña con las Altiplanicies interiores (2). Se trata, por tanto, de una comarca estratégica en las relaciones socio-culturales entre la Baja y la Alta Andalucía, que presenta abundantes vestigios de la cultura material del pasado , si bien hasta el presente se hace patente la falta de una investigación seria y siste- (1) Agradecemos a don Rafael Machuca Moreno las facilidades que nos ha brindado para la documenta­ ción y catalogación del material cerámico objeto de nuestro estudio.
