The Wexford Carol (Song) Traditional This religious Christmas carol has been a favorite in Ireland for many years.

Apples in Winter/The Frost Is All Over (Jig – Instrumental) Traditional These are two lovely traditional Irish Jigs that depict great images of winter and the Christmas season.

Oiche Chiuin/Silent Night (Song) Traditional Known around the world, Silent Night is sung in Irish as Oiche Chiuin, followed by the English version. The audience is encouraged to sing along.

Christmas Eve Reel (Instrumental) Traditional This instrumental is one of the most well-known Christmas tunes in Ireland.

Angels We Have Heard on High (Song) Traditional This song is a favorite in Ireland and everyone is welcome to sing along.

Le Coinnlena N’Aingeal/The Candles of Angels (Song) Traditional This beautiful Irish song translates to “The Candles of Angels.” It is a story of the old Irish tradition of lighting candles in the windows of homes as a welcome sign.

The Scartaglen Slide Set (Instrumental) Traditional Scartaglen is a village in the beautiful Sliabh Luachra area that borders Counties Cork and Kerry. The first tune type is a “slide” followed by some great “reels” known as The Hunters Purse and The Reconciliation.

The Boys of Barrna Straide (Song) Traditional This song from County Kerry mentions Hunting for the Wren in the last line of each verse. The wren hunt is an ancient tradition in Ireland that takes place on St. Stephens Day, December 26, as a day of music, song, and celebration.

5 Kilfenora Jigs Set (Instrumental) Traditional Kilfenora is a beautiful village in County Clare. This Jig is named after the village and is commonly played in Ireland by traditional musicians.

Polka Selection (Instrumental) Traditional Irish Polkas are associated mostly with the Munster region in southern Ireland.

Breton Lullaby (Instrumental) Traditional This is a beautiful Breton dance tune that we arranged as a lullaby. It was written by Ronan Pellan, who is from the Celtic region of Brittany in France.

The Parting Glass (Song) Traditional This song is one of Ireland’s greatest farewell songs and is always performed at the end of the evening.

7 Founded by Hernández, MARIACHI REYNA DE LOS ANGELES stays true to its music and creative spirit, mixing recognized masterpieces of Mariachi with popular cover tunes. The all-female Mariachi group graced the music scene, delighting fans with its spirit and energy reflective of ’s vibrant musical heritage. The dance troupe GRANDEZA MEXICANA FOLK BALLET COMPANY was established in 2003 to present the community with high-quality performances that draw from the rich legends and traditions of Mexican culture, history, and mythology. The group has earned a solid reputa- tion for its dynamic ensemble works, dramatic costumes, and artistic exploration. Since its inception, Grandeza Mexicana has been nominated twice for the Lester Horton Award, growing from 12 dancers to more than 30. The group’s rep- ertoire includes pieces that represent the themes and regions of Azteca, Chiapas, Guerrero, Jalisco, La Loteria, Mayas, Michoacan, Nayarit, Nuevo Leon, Oaxaca, Sinaloa, and Veracruz. n
