Haven March Lineup PDF Download Haven Nightclub Announces March 2016 Lineup Atlantic City’s best nightclub of 2015 brings another month of award-winning EDM acts ATLANTIC CITY, NJ—March 1, 2016—Haven Nightclub at the Golden Nugget Casino, Hotel & Marina and Atlantic City Weekly’s Night Club of the Year, will yet again host international EDM stars throughout March. On Friday, March 4, Vanic opens the month at Haven, which will be his only stop in New Jersey on his Road to Coachella tour. Vanic has been hailed as one of the most well-known DJ/producers ever to come out of Canada. Earlier this year, he earned a deal with Disruptor Records, and is currently crafting his first EP. He’ll be “lighting up whatever stage he touches,” around the country on his current tour, which culminates at Coachella in April. The weekend continues on Saturday, March 5 with triple threat Borgeous, EDM’s platinum recording artist, producer, and DJ. His smash hits include “Invincible,” which was named the second- hottest song of 2014 on Sirius XM BPM; “Tsunami,” a #1 worldwide hit in 15 countries overall via iTunes; and many more, all reaching Beatport’s Top-10. Miami-born Borgeous has achieved three dance radio Billboard top-10 honors, cracked into DJ Mag’s Top 100 at #87, and hosts “House of Borgeous” on Sirius XM. The next weekend brings two more superstar acts – Chachi and Borgore[SW1]. Acclaimed progressive house DJ and producer Chachi returns to Haven on Friday, March 11; Borgore, who has released singles ranked on charts such as Top Electronic Albums, Top Heatseekers, Top Independent Albums, and Billboard 200, performs at Haven on Friday, March 12. Haven hosts an epic celebration for one of the biggest party nights of the year, St. Patrick’s Day, with Drink & Bottle Specials for the night, as well as Beatbreaker, who is supported by huge names including, Tiesto, Lil Jon, Laidback Luke, and more, on Thursday, March 17. As with each and every Haven MisBeHaven Thursday, Complimentary admission is available to club goers who present an Industry ID, College ID, or Golden Nugget Hotel room key before midnight. Guests can also earn Complimentary admission for two on Thursdays by spending $25 at the following Landry’s Signature Restaurants: Chart House; Lillie’s Asian Cuisine; Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse; or Grotto. The holiday weekend rages on with the return of 2015’s Haven resident Fergie DJ– one of the first true superstar DJs and an award-winning producer and remixer – on Friday, March 18. March also brings Haven residency performances from R3HAB on Saturday, March 19, and 4B on Friday, March 25. Dutch DJ and producer R3HAB is widely considered one of the biggest DJs in the world and has collaborated with the likes of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Madonna, LMFAO, Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, Calvin Harris, Kaskade, Far East Movement, Pitbull, David Guetta, and Katy Perry. An Academy Award­winning composer, superstar DJ, world­recognized songwriter and prolific producer, Giorgio Moroder is one of the most influential and innovative artists of the 20​th and 21​st centuries. Having engineered the disco landscape of the seventies, Moroder brought electronic music to the mainstream with frequent collaborator Donna Summer and their anthemic hits ‘Love To Love You Baby’, ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘I Feel Love’. As well as his title as godfather of dance, Moroder has composed some of the most recognizable film scores in cinema history, including The Never Ending Story, American Gigolo, Cat People, Superman III, Scarface, Rambo III, and Beverly Hills Cop II as well as hit soundtrack singles ‘Take My Breath Away’ by Berlin (Top Gun), ‘Flashdance’ by Irene Cara and ‘Call Me’ by Blondie (American Gigolo). His work for film has seen him win no less than three Academy Awards that sit proudly alongside his four Golden Globes, four Grammys and in 2004 was an inductee into the Dance Music Hall of Fame for his outstanding contribution to the music industry. Introduction Electronic Dance Music (EDM) culture today is often times associated with top mainstream DJs and producers such as Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Calvin Harris, and David Guetta. These are artists who have established their career around DJing and/or producing electronic music albums or remixes and have gone on to headline world-renowned music festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Coachella. The problem is that the term “DJ” can be mistakenly used interchangeably between someone who mixes between pre-recorded pieces of music at a venue with a set of turntables and a mixer and an artist who manipulates or creates music or audio live using a combination of computers, hardware, and/or controllers.
