Argus Nefte Transport Oil transportation logistics in the former Soviet Union Volume XVI, 5, May 2017 Primorsk loads first 100,000t diesel cargo Russia’s main outlet for 10ppm diesel exports, the Baltic port of Primorsk, shipped a 100,000t cargo for the first time this month. The diesel was loaded on 4 May on the 113,300t Dong-A Thetis, owned by the South Korean shipping company Dong-A Tanker. The 100,000t cargo of Rosneft product was sold to trading company Vitol for delivery to the Amsterdam-Rotter- dam-Antwerp region, a market participant says. The Dong-A Thetis was loaded at Russian pipeline crude exports berth 3 or 4 — which can handle crude and diesel following a recent upgrade, and mn b/d can accommodate 90,000-150,000t vessels with 15.5m draught. 6.0 Transit crude Russian crude It remains unclear whether larger loadings at Primorsk will become a regular 5.0 occurrence. “Smaller 50,000-60,000t cargoes are more popular and the terminal 4.0 does not always have the opportunity to stockpile larger quantities of diesel for 3.0 export,” a source familiar with operations at the outlet says. How to use the Atlas The Atlas has two map sections The Main Section shows the location of Russia’s intact forest landscapes. The Thematic Section shows their tree species composition in two different ways. The legend is placed at the beginning of each set of maps. If you are looking for an area near a town or village Go to the Index on page 153 and find the alphabetical list of settlements by English name. The Cyrillic name is also given along with the map page number and coordinates (latitude and longitude) where it can be found. Capitals of regions and districts (raiony) are listed along with many other settlements, but only in the vicinity of intact forest landscapes. The reader should not expect to see a city like Moscow listed. Villages that are insufficiently known or very small are not listed and appear on the map only as nameless dots. If you are looking for an administrative region Go to the Index on page 185 and find the list of administrative regions. The numbers refer to the map on the inside back cover. Having found the region on this map, the reader will know which index map to use to search further. If you are looking for the big picture Go to the overview map on page 35. This map shows all of Russia’s Intact Forest Landscapes, along with the borders and Roman numerals of the five index maps. II International Scientific Symposium «Monuments of the World Cultural Heritage in Russia - challenges and perspectives» and Annual Conference of the National Committee ICOMOS, Russia ABSTRACTS 19-21 September 2018 Veliky Novgorod Putting a Stop to Losses, Managing the Present and the Future of the Cultural Heritage of Russia The bitter news of the fire that destroyed the wooden tent-roofed Church of the Assumption in Kondopoga, the Republic of Karelia has shocked all of us. It was a symbol of the spiritual and material power of the Russian people, a cultural monument of federal significance, an object of worship for thousands of people. Its beauty and sophistication, its unique image celebrated by poets and artists were fascinating. Numerous monographs both in Russia and abroad have been dedicated to it, for centuries it was passing down the generations the inimitable charm of the Russian North. This loss is irreversible, architectural monuments may not be cloned. It is imperative to put a stop to losing the masterpieces of the wooden architecture in which Russia used to be so rich. The VII Parliamentary Forum in June 2018 in Suzdal dedicated to this most fragile part of our cultural heritage has raised the issue of the necessity to ensure the safety of the cultural heritage object's that are located far from populated places, in the hard to access areas which was historically predetermined. Russia possesses a unique experience in protecting the objects of the national significance. Vandalizing priceless cultural masterpieces is a kind of terrorism which our country prevails. In our opinion, the state should adopt a comprehensive inter-agency program for protection of the cultural heritage of the Russian North, Siberia and Far East. -

The Seventh Japan–Russia Energy and Environment Dialogue in Niigata B-KOVALEV PRIMORSKY TERRITORY GOVERNMENT Kovalev Sergey, Executive Director Department of Energy, Oil, Gas and Coal Industry of Primorsky Region Characteristics of Energy Sector of Primorsky Territory The peculiarity of Primorsky Territory is its energy deficiency almost in all types of primary energy - electricity, boiler and furnace fuels, motor oil. More than 20% of electric power consumption, up to 40% of coal burned in the region and the entire amount of used fuel oil are supplied to Primorsky Territory. Part of the remote areas of Primorsky Territory are provided with power service by inefficient and outdated diesel-run power plants. Vavilov All-Russian Institute of Plant Genetic Resources, Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation ABSTRACT: Among the multiple anthropogenic factors, air pollution is associated with the influence of pedosphere and its components on humans and environment. The disturbance of natural balance is facilitated by large-scale development of mineral deposits and associated environmental pollution by harmful components. The increasing anthropogenic impact require scientific and technical examination, introduction of air pollution monitoring systems, amendments to state regulatory acts, and practical solutions to the problems of mineral resources management. This study deals with the ecotoxicological assessment of the influence of coal dust microparticles on a typical representative of marine biota, namely mollusk Modi olus modiolus. We did not detect acute toxicological hazard of coal dust particles to the repre sentatives of marine biota, however, the observed changes in the state of hemocytes of mollusk M. modiolus suggest that there is a chronic exposure. 1 INTRODUCTION The port complex of Nakhodka city is located in thse southwestern part of Primorsky Krai on the shores of Nakhodka Bay and Vostok Bay, Sea of Japan. -

Partizansk is a green town with many gardens. Most of Partizansk is built up with one-story individual houses. Modern five-story buildings prevail only in the city center.
