Sleepy Hollow Homeowners Association May 3, 2013 Board of Supervisors of Marin County 3501 Civil Center Drive San Rafael, CA 94903-4157 Re: Stream Conservation Area (SCA) Proposed Amendments to the Development Code Honorable Members of the Board of Supervisors: INTRODUCTION The Sleepy Hollow Homes Association (SHHA) objects to the proposed changes to Chapters 22.33 (Stream Protection) and 22.63 (Stream Conservation Area Permit) as they would apply to the residents of the unincorporated portion of San Anselmo known as Sleepy Hollow. We ask that the County exempt and/or delay implementation of any changes to Chapters 22.33 and 22.63 as to the city-centered corridor streams, including Sleepy Hollow. The SHHA supports implementation of the proposed amendments to the San Geronimo Valley, to protect wildlife habitat in streams where Coho Salmon currently exist. The SHHA supports regulations to ensure the health and survival of the species in these areas. The SHHA recognizes the urgency of this matter to the San Geronimo Valley, both for the survival of the endangered and declining Coho population and for the property rights of the affected residents who are currently subject to a building moratorium.

That song from Pinocchio, 'When You Wish Upon a Star,' is the perfect summary of Walt's approach to life: dream big dreams, even hopelessly impossible dreams, because they really can come true. Sure, it takes work, focus and perseverance. But anything is possible. Walt proved it with the impossible things he accomplished."1 It is well documented that Walt Disney had big dreams and made several large gambles to propel his visions. From the creation of Steamboat Willie in 1928 to the first color feature film, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves” in 1937, and the creation of Disneyland in Anaheim, CA during the 1950’s, Disney risked his personal assets as well as his studio to build a reality from his dreams. While Walt Disney passed away in the mid 1960’s, his quote, “If you can dream it, you can do it,”2 still resonates in the corporate world and operations of The Walt Disney Company.

Raising Voices, One Story at a Time. Annual Report 2019-2020 Our Mission Young Storytellers sparks creative self-discovery through storytelling. Our programs highlight young people as the center of their own narratives, emphasize that their stories matter, and celebrate their unique voices as the ones telling them. In elementary school, we use storytelling to help young people explore their creativity and imagination. In middle school, we use storytelling to explore their goals for the future and what challenges might stand in their way. In high school, we use storytelling to explore the impact their voice can have in their community - and, more broadly, the world. Young Storytellers works towards a future where young people experience the impact that their thoughts, feelings, and words can have on the world in which they live. Our programs act as a tool to convene the necessary elements in any community to facilitate connection between young people, the general population, and the schools that act as a central hub of growth and activity. 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders MARCH 18, 2014 Disney Speakers: Bob Iger Chairman and Chief Executive Officer PRESENTATION [VIDEO] Announcer Ladies and Gentlemen, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger. Bob Iger – Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company Good morning, everyone. Good morning. Thank you. I really love that video. It never gets old for me because it says so much about The Walt Disney Company and what Disney means to so many millions and millions of people all over the world. And we're very, very happy to be here in Portland today to talk about the future of our great company. And we're holding this meeting here because Oregon has a lot of Disney shareholders and even more Disney fans and, of course, you also have our duck. Go Ducks, right? How did that happen? Anyway, these are all great reasons to be here to share the many new and exciting things that are happening across our company. Page 1 The Walt Disney Company’s March 18, 2014 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders I started last year's shareholder meeting by proudly announcing that our stock had just reached $60.00 a share for the first time and our market cap had reached $100 billion. Now, lately our stock has been above $80.00 a share and our market cap has been above $140 billion -- I'd call that a great year. Thanks. Now there are three things that drive this kind of success at Disney -- exceptional creativity, constant innovation and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Before the impact of COVID-19, Elena worked in a restaurant kitchen. Due to the economic fallout from the pandemic, she— like tens of millions of people across the country—lost her job. As Elena saw the nutritious food available for her to take home to help feed her family of seven, she smiled, excited about the meals she could prepare amid a devastating time of unemployment and uncertainty. Women like Elena are overrepresented in some of the hardest-hit industries for job loss, including leisure and hospitality, healthcare and education, and women—especially “ Black and Latino women—lost jobs in those sectors I’M VERY at disproportionate rates. GRATEFUL TO GOD THAT MY FAMILY IS ABLE TO EAT BECAUSE OF THE FOOD THAT I RECEIVE FROM THE PANTRY. ” PG 3 MOTIVATION 2020 ANNUAL REPORT MEET OUR VOLUNTEERS Before the pandemic, the Feeding America food bank network relied on the generous time of nearly 2 million volunteers each month. The impact of COVID-19 quickly shattered that. Adhering to shelter- in-place orders, social-distancing protocols and health concerns, food banks saw a 60% decline in this critical volunteer workforce.
