● Machida City Cultural Exchange Center This facility is equipped with six large and small meeting rooms, a hall with a capacity for 200 or more people, a studio, and open gallery. These facilities may be used for meetings, training courses, parties, concerts and other events. At Central Library, there are various programs, such as movies, exhibits, story-telling, and lectures, offered on an ongoing basis. Due to a joint agreement, Machida residents and residents of , Hachioji, Fuchu, Chofu, Hino, Tama, and Inagi can share the libraries of each other’s cities. Those who can borrow books: Those who live, work or study in Machida City and residents of joint-agreement cities.
