While doing research for this mag­ azine's "Nuggets" columns, we have frequently seen the name of Adolph (Dolph) Goebel, who presided at or­ gan consoles in eastern seaboard the­ atres from Massachusetts to Geor­ gia, and in Omaha and Wisconsin. Through the graciousness of Mr. Goebel 's widow, his voluminous scrapbook was made available to the writer in 1977, and in the following we shall attempt to trace a very active career.
