Existing Government/Local Body buildings will be provided with solar rooftops in phased manner. The Government have also instructed to take speedy action for implementation of the orders issued for promotion of solar rooftops in Government/Local Body buildings. 2. The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board has therefore proposed to install solar power plant of 7 KW connected to the Grid in JNNURM Division Office building at Semmencherry at a cost of Rs.10.60 lakh, for effective utilization of non-conventional green energy as well as utilization of conventional energy (Electricity from TNEB) during night hours. 3. The Government after careful examination accept the proposal of the Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board under Part-II Scheme for the year 2014-2015 under Component-II and accord sanction for releasing a sum of Rs.10.60 lakhs (Rupees Ten lakh and sixty thousand only) for providing Solar Generator to the Division Office at Semmencherry. 4. The amount sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following Head of Account:- "2216-Housing 02-Urban Housing 190-Assistance to Public Sector and Other Undertakings-Schemes in the Twelfth Five year Plan II. State Plan JT-Grants to Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board for providing Solar Roof Top Systems/Generator 09-Grants-in-Aid 02-Grants for Creation of Capital Assets." (DPC-2216-02-190- JT-0926) ...2... ~• ...2... 5. The amount sanctioned in Para 3 above shall not be paid in cash but credited to the following Head of Account:- "K Deposits and Advances (b) Deposits not bearing interest - 8443 Civil Deposits - 800 Other Deposits - CA Deposits of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board." (D.P.Code No.8443-00-800-CA-00OJ (Receipts)). 6. The Commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts, Chennai-15 is authorized to draw the amount sanctioned in para 3 above by means of an Account Payee Cheque in favour of Personal Deposit Account of Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board, so as to enable the Slum Clearance Board to remit the same in the State Bank of India, Thousand Lights Branch, Chennai. 7. The Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board is requested to take necessary action to implement the above scheme after following the procedures in force and send a report to the Government with the expenditure statement in due course. 8. NOW THEREFORE the Government issue the following amendment to G.O.Ms.No.245, Revenue & Disaster Management (DM-II) Department, dated 18-5-2020: A) the sub-clause "Taxi and auto rickshaws are permitted for urgent medical treatment with TN e-pass within the District, in respect of 12 Districts where Intra District movements are otherwise not permitted" under Clause V shall be replaced as "Taxi are permitted for urgent medical treatment with TN e-pass within the District, in respect of 12 Districts where Intra District movements are otherwise not permitted.
