By Melissa Orff Staff Reporter Officials broke ground on the new Woodland Elementary School project on Saturday, April 11, marking the beginning of an 18-month project that will end with students starting their first day of school in the year 2016 in a brand new building. The ceremony took place on the grounds of where the new building will be located, adjacent to the current Woodland School Woodland School Building Committee on what was previously soccer fields.
