Principal’s Update BMX track for St Joseph’s It has been a pleasure to be part of the St Joseph’s School Community for the 2020 school year and what a year it has been it for everyone – who would have thought Covid 19 would have had such impact at the beginning. I would like to thank everyone who has helped us during the year, your continued support of our wonderful school is very much appreciated. Along with big fund-raising events our wonderful PTA have also provided our Juniors out on the new BMX children with other smaller track opportunities. e.g.: a Fish n Chip Lunch, St Joseph’s Opunake is now lucky enough to have a 1 km BMX track which loops around the school. Acting Actionaki, Book Fair, Class outings, Meet Principal Sandra Connor came up with the idea after seeing how much the kids in her previous school loved it. the Teacher at the Pools, Easter raffle, The school community got involved and it was completed within a weekend.
