Hello Dan,

Thank you for your email. I would like to propose the following Ward Boundary Changes.

West Hull.

To include a new ward covering the whole of Gipsyville to be called Gipsyville Ward, running from the Boothferry Road- North Road area to Road boths sides following the railway line to the Hessle Road Flyover and including the whole of Pickering Park in the west.

The current Pickering Ward, west side of Pickering Road would include Boothferry Estate from Hessle Road to Boothferry Road. The boundary should be extended in the west to include the east side of First Lane Hessle, which currently lies within the East Riding

All other wards in West Hull apart from Newington and Boothferry there would be no change. Newington Ward would only loose the Gipsyville part, Boothferry ward would include a part of Pickering Ward currently, the Road North section and be expanded to include in the west, which lies in the East Riding. The whole of the North side of Boothferry Estate would be in the same ward. Boothferry would loose Spring Bank West to Newington Ward. Derringham Ward would be expanded to take the whole of the East side of Springhead Lane. This would make the boundary more consistent and economically benefitial. It would tidy up the boundary line between the East RIding and Hull City Councils

East Hull.

Would loose the part, to North Hull. Bilton Grange ward would cross the boundary with the East Riding and include Ganstead and Bilton villages. Ward would be expanded to Salt End both sides of Hedon Road, again crossing the boundary with the East Riding.

All other wards would remain the same

North Hull

Bransholme to become a unified Ward in North Hull. The boundary around Golf Links Road, and Bricknell Avenue in the part of the East Riding All of Bricknell Avenue estate to the West Bulls Public House should be in Hull. Both areas should be put into University and Bricknell Wards in Hull, respectively.

1 Hi David,

Thank you for your submission but if I've understood it right it's in relation to the parliamentary review so I have copied in the Boundary Commission for England as they're a separate organisation to ourselves. If you'd like to make a submission as part of the current review of the warding arrangements for Hull City Council I'd be very happy to receive it, further information is available here http://www.lgbce.org.uk/current-reviews/yorkshire-and-the-/kingston-upon-hull/kingston-upon-hull.

Regards

Dan
