Amanda Blank was born in Germantown, a neighborhood in northwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1983, amanda and her older sisters were raised in a row house in Germantown by artist parents. She worked on her first solo album, with producers XXXChange of Spank Rock, Diplo, the album I Love You was released on August 4,2009, with her first single being Might Like You Better. Amanda Blank has opened for Canadian electroclash musician Peaches, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, since 2013 she had been working in collaboration with Spank Rock. I Love You is the debut album by Philadelphia-based rapper and singer Amanda Blank. The album was released on August 4, 2009 (see 2009 in music) through Downtown Records. I Love You received mixed reviews from music critics, earning a rating of 59 out of 100 on Metacritic based on 17 reviews. Billboard described the album as "guiltless fun, just like any proper quickie."
