I am sure we will witness athletics performance of the highest quality and our efforts go towards making the Plovdiv regatta venue a worthy arena for a fair competition between the best athletes in the World. For years ago we have received the right to carrying out of this Championship. During this time the rowing and canoeing channel in Plovdiv has completely changed: The big reconstruction of the sport complex has been made. Ivan Totev Mayor of Plovdiv - 3 - - 4 - ACCREDITATION Date: July 24 - 29, 2018 Opening Hours: 24 July Tuesday 08.30 - 13:00 14:00 – 19:00 25 July Wednesday 08.30 - 13:00 14:00 – 17:00 26 July Thursday 08.00 - 14:00 15:00 – 19:00 27 July Friday 08.00 - 14:00 15:00 – 19:00 28 July Saturday 08.00 - 14:00 15:00 – 19:00 29 July Sunday 08.00 - 11:30 12:30 – 15:00 Venue: Plovdiv Regatta venue All participants of the competition must be accredited. No access is possible to the course without an accreditation card. Participating teams will arrive at the Accreditation Centre on the Venue (see regatta venue map, position 5). You will not be accredited unless you have paid all your dues. Afterwards the team leaders may collect the necessary documents and body numbers. Each team will receive one parking pass for a van or mini bus. Please, whoever has not yet provided passport details MUST provide copies or originals of the passports to the Accreditation staff. The athletes who do not have passports provided will not be accredited. Before leaving the Accreditation Centre, team leaders will be asked to: * listen to your country anthem, check your flag and sign that they are correct; * check and sign departure information; * leave their and their team’s head coach’s phone numbers so they can be reached at any time during the competition; * collect nr 1 (one) pass for van and trailer; * nominate 1 team members for flag and sign for opening parade; PLEASE NOTE: There will be a cost of Euro 10 for every accreditation that needs to be reprinted if lost, damaged or forgotten in the hotel. Acceptable methods of payment: cash (Euro) - 5 - MEALS Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the hotels, where the teams are accommodated. Everyone have to wear their accreditation cards. For participants not using the package the participation fee is 150.00 € for the whole period. Participation fee: Participation fee includes - all services at the regatta course + packed lunch during the competition days (only in advanced order one day earlier till 10 A.M. in the Info center) at the regatta course for participants that use their own accommodation. In case your team would cause any damage to the rooms you are to pay for it on the spot. - 6 - TRANSPORTATION Shuttle buses are running on a regular basis between the regatta course and the official hotels. You can find the routes and the timetables in the appendix. To find shuttle bus stop please see the map in appendix. INFO CENTER Info center for the team leaders is located in the Accreditation Centre. Each team will receive the initial information package at the Accreditation Centre upon arrival. During the competition the staff at the Info center will provide all necessary information in regards to competition and beyond. CREW CHANGE You can find the corresponding form in appendix. Deadline for submitting your changes is Wednesday July 25th, 2018 before 09.30h at the Team Leaders meeting. MEDICAL CARE The following medical services are available for all accredited participants of the 2018 ICF Canoe Sprint Junior and U23 from Tuesday to Wednesday from 9:00 to 17:00 h, during the competition days from 7:30 till one hour after the last race. World Championships: doctor on duty, hospital and clinic assistance. A medical center (see Regatta venue map position 31 and position 34, will operate at the regatta course with ambulance and first aid. The costs above the regular first aid and ambulance services are to be covered by your medical insurance policy. The Organising Committee is not responsible to cover your expenses in connection with hospital treatment, dental treatment or any other medical treatment. - 7 - BOAT STORAGE Boat stands are provided in the Athletes’ Area. Trailers are to be parked in a designated parking area (see Regatta venue map position 12). Self-boat control will be located in boat house 13. BOAT RENTAL The Organizing Committee does not take responsibility for boat rentals. Please connect to the producers. MEDIA CENTER Media center will be arranged in the main 3th floor of the Finish Tower at the Venue with all necessary technical facilities for work of representatives of mass- media as well as special places on tribunes. BOAT NUMBERS AND BODY NUMBERS The body numbers can be collected by the team leaders at accreditation. The boat numbers can be collected one hour before the competition at the designated place next to ID control (see Regatta venue map position 1) ID CONTROL The competitors can embark only from the designated place before the competition where their body numbers, boat numbers and accreditation cards are checked (see Regatta venue map position 1). SECOND BOAT CONTROL After the race the competitors will be called to the second boat control and must disembark into the designated place (see Regatta venue map position 28). DOPING CONTROL The selected competitors are subject to doping control conforming to the relevant regulations at the designated place (Regatta venue map position 21). ANTI –DOPING EDUCATION Every athlete must pass, anti – doping education at link below : https://www.canoeicf.com/anti-doping-education until 25/07/2018 Un athlete who is not registered will not be allowed to start. OFFICIAL TRAINING SESSIONS Monday, July 23, 09:00 – 18:00 h Tuesday, July 24, 09:00 – 18:00 h Wednesday, July 25, 09:00 – 18:00 h The OC provides lifeguard service during the training sessions. During the training time the competitors will have the opportunity to test the starting machine. TEAM LEADERS MEETING Date: Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10:00h Venue: Regatta Course, Finish tower second level room 206 (see Regatta venue map position 3). Transportation: A direct shuttle will provide transportation for ITOs from their hotel. - 8 - ITOs’ MEETING Date: Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00h Venue: Regatta Course, Finish tower second level room 206 (see Regatta venue map position 3). OFFICIAL DINNER Date: Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 20.00h Venue: Sankt Petersburg Park Hotel Transportation: The schedule will be published at the info center. Departure time from the hotel is 19:30h. Return time around 22:30h. MEDAL PRESENTATION: After the finals athletes have to stay at the 2nd boat control. From there they will go to the medal presentation. Team leader/coaches have to bring the uniform to the 2nd boat control. DRINKING WATER: Water from public mains is safe to drink. Water will be distributed to team leader in boat house 9. (see Regatta venue map position 22). For the participants water will be distribute from July 26 two bottles per person per day.     Loyale Konspiratoren Die Verschwörung bulgarischer Offiziere 1886/87 von DENIZA PETROVA Abstract: Das Wirken des konspirativen militärischen Netzwerks in Bulgarien 1886/1887 gestaltete sich in der Spannung zwischen persönlicher Identität, nationalen Prämissen und politischer Loyalität. Gelegentlich harmonierten diese Faktoren mitei- nander, in dem beschriebenen Fallbeispiel divergierten sie aber in einem so hohen Maße, das dadurch militärischer Korpsgeist, Berufsethos und Loyalität zum eigenen Staat und zum Monarchen als oberstem Befehlshaber ausgehebelt wurden. Die gespal- tene Loyalität des bulgarischen Militärs bildete den Ausgangspunkt für die Verschwö- rung einer Gruppe von Offizieren gegen den bulgarischen Fürsten und deutschen Prinzen Alexander von Battenberg. Zum einen spielte die Vergangenheit der Ver- schwörer als Mitglieder eines geheimen Netzwerkes, in dem sie erste Erfahrungen im Untergrundkampf und in der Geheimhaltung sammeln konnten, eine wesentliche Rolle. Zum anderen bauten sie eine militärische Karriere auf und wurden von Rebel- len gegen staatliche Gewalt zu legitimen Schützern des Staates, um dann sich wiede- rum gegen den Staat aufzulehnen.
