Природна забележителност "арборетум" – гр. Генерал тошево, Природна забележителност вековно дър- во "летен дъб" – с. дъбовик; ловен резерват гора "негру вода" и защитена зона на с. валчеле; язовир "дрян". тези природни туристически ресурси са добра база за развитието на ловен и екотуризъм. naTural resources The following natural resources are located on the territory of the municipalities General Toshevo and negru voda: protected zone coastal dobrudzha with area of 6517.31 ha (of which 6391.1 ha fall into the General Toshevo municipality); protected zone rossitsa – loznitsa with area of 1812.0 ha, of which 31% are protected territory (pT); protected zone izvorovo-Kraishte with area of 1081.5 ha; protected zone Kardam with area of 918.3 ha; protected zone chairya with area of 1451.2 ha (partially spanning the territory of dobrich-rural municipality). natural landmark arboretum – town of General Toshevo, natural landmark centennial tree summer oak – the village of dubovik; hunting reserve forest negru voda and protected zone of the village of valcele, the drian dam lake. The territories of General Toshevo municipality and negru voda town hall are located in the ukrainian- Kazakh (steppe) bio-geographical province. The most typical steppe elements are dry-meadow assemblage and steppe biota species. The protected plant species in the region are sea arrowgrass, green needle grass, arenaria rigida, sisymbrium polymorphum, Matthiola odoratissima, crambe tatarica, potentilla emili-popii nyarady, astragalus comutus, scandix australis, pastinaca umbrosa, Bulgarian galium, symphytum tauricum, nepeta ucranica, roman Wormwood, Taraxacum bessarabicum, crepis nicaensis Balbis. The most featured representatives of the mammal class are red deer, doe, boar, rabbit, squirrel, wolf, jackal, fox, wildcat, marten, european polecat and badger. During the period 01.07—20.11.2019, a total of 2,261 prophylactic medical examinations were carried out with the four mobile gynaecological offices to uninsured persons of Roma origin and to persons with difficult access to medical facilities, as 951 women were diagnosed with diseases. The implementation of the activity for each Regional Health Inspectorate is in accordance with an order of the Minister of Health to carry out not less than 500 examinations with each mobile gynaecological office. Financial resources of BGN 12,500 were allocated for each mobile unit, totalling BGN 50,000 for the four units. The study area covers parts of the eastern slope of the North Bulgarian arch, having the Bulgarian–Romanian border to the north, Cape Kaliakra to the south, Dobrich city to the west, and the Black Sea shelf to the east. Block faulting, horsts and grabens of different rank are the typical structural features. The crustal-scale Intramoesian Fault, considered to separate the Moesian Platform in two main compartments, reaches the Black Sea continental shelf in Shabla region, its path being ambiguously located on maps, as it does not outcrop. Analysis of regional seismicity data available from ROMPLUS Earthquake Catalogue and EMSC Earthquake Catalogue, integrated with available tectonic and geophysical data, as well as with geological, geomorphological and neotectonic field observations, offered the possibility to interpret W–E, NE–SW and NW–SE active fault systems within the study area and build the grounds for a much more comprehensive understanding of this region’s tectonics. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA The area of Shabla community covers the northern-most Bulgarian coastal municipality. It is bordering Romania to the North, the Black Sea to the East, Kavarna municipality to the South and General Toshevo municipality to the West. The area of the municipality is 329.97km2 and constitutes 5.62% of the coastal zone of the country. The population of the municipality is 6,900 in 16 human settlements. Fig. 1: Location map of the north-east region of Bulgaria. 1.1 Physical process level 1.1.1 Classification General: beaches and cliffs CORINE: beaches Coastal guide: coastal plain 1.1.2 Geology The area is relatively simple from geological view point. Sarmat (Upper Miocene) deposits on top of lower Cretaceous and Vallange deposits. The Sarmat deposits are whitish, cavernous limestone located near the surface. The top consits of loess and loam, with a thickness of from several tenths of centimeters (in the East) to 15-20m in the Western part.
