In the past year, we have continued to strengthen the support we provide to our members through programs and resources that will broaden our impact in basic science, translational research and patient care. Leadership Leadership is a critical component of an effective organization, and the Meyer Cancer Center senior leadership team provides strategic direction and oversight in the areas of basic science, clinical research, clinical care and administration. • John Blenis, Ph.D., Associate Director of Basic Science, oversees the direction of basic science research programs, as well as the Collaborative Research Initiative, the annual Meyer Cancer Center pilot grant program. • Julie L.
