The new structure has given rise to 7 Permanent and 3 Fixed Term Team Coordinator positions within our Children Services, Business Services department. These administrative roles work as integral parts of small teams supporting social workers, community care workers, and practice supervisors. Post holders require excellent planning and organisational skills whilst remaining flexible and supportive to others. An ability to gain knowledge of Derbyshire County Councils administration practices and processes, council procedures, including an understanding of confidentiality, GDPR & Data Protection is required along with excellent ICT. The post holder will be responsible for the co-ordination of a range of business services activities for the team, for example preparing and processing financial and business forms for the purpose of facilitating payments and purchases, booking meetings and appointments, record of meetings, typing of letters and documents, running regular data reports for analysis, supporting with client related systems, being a point of contact via telephone for families whilst ensuring that objectives, targets and timescales are met. They will have the ability to drive their own and the team’s performance. The successful candidates must have excellent customer service skills to build and maintain substantial relationships with our young people, Social Workers, external agencies and partners. The post holders will support Social Workers with daily tasks (please refer to the job description) and work alongside the Management Team in monitoring performance and practice to drive the service forward to achieve the best outcomes for our young people and improve the operational efficiency, quality of the service. The 10 Team Co-ordinator positions available within our Children Services Business Services Department, are located within the following areas: Post 1 – Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children & Care Leavers, The Pod, Chesterfield - 37 hours per week - permanent. “Working with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children and Care Leavers, the successful applicant will build and maintain trusting relationships with young people and families whilst providing excellent administrative support to Social Workers, Leaving Care Workers and Team Managers.” Post 2 & 3 – Early Help & Safeguarding (Social Care) Rink House, Swadlincote – 37 hours per week – permanent x 2. “South Derbyshire and South Dales have 2 Team Coordinator vacancies available in the locality. You will be joining a fast-paced early help and social care service, working with 4 existing Team Coordinators of varying experience to support and become the heart of a specific team.” Post 4 – Early Help & Safeguarding (Social Care) Amber Valley Area Office - 37 hours per week - Fixed Term 12 months. “You will be joining a fast-paced early help and social care service, working with 5 existing TC to support and become the heart of the Children in Care Team within the Amber Valley locality.” Post 5 – Early Help & Safeguarding (Disabled Childrens Team), Polygon, Alfreton – 37 hours per week – permanent. “You will be joining a fast-paced specialist and safeguarding service, working with 4 existing Team Coordinators to support the Disabled Children’s Service. The service works with children who have a disability or additional needs.” Post 6 – Early Help & Safeguarding (Social Care), Clay Cross – temporary to cover maternity leave, 18 hours 30 minutes per week Monday 9-5, Tuesday 9-5, Wednesday 9.00 – 12.40. “This is a job share with an experienced team coordinator, working in a busy office providing administrative support to a team of social workers and team managers.” - £10,372.56 - £11,312.52 per annum Post 7 – Early Help and Safeguarding (Social Care) 18 hours 30 minutes per week based at Eckington Sub Office, Wednesday 1.15-5.00, Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-5. “This is a job share with an experienced team co-ordinator, working in a busy office providing administrative support to a team of social workers and team managers.” - £10,372.56 - £11,312.52 per annum Post 8– Children in Care, Recruitment & Assessment 18 hours 30 minutes per week based at Ilkeston. Days to be confirmed. “To provide administrational support for the recruitment of good foster care for our Young People by being at the heart of Fostering Recruitment.” - £10,372.56 - £11,312.52 per annum Post 9 – Children in Care, Contract Care, Gernon Manor 18 hours 30 minutes per week afternoons – permanent. “Contract Care are committed to helping all young people to reach their full potential. Our foster carers are central to this, so the support offered by the Team Co-ordinator is an important role as part of the team around the child.” - £10,372.56 - £11,312.52 per annum Post 10 – Children in Care, Fostering, Erewash 37 hours per week – permanent. “South Derbyshire Fostering Team are a positive, supportive team with a focus on establishing positive working relationships with foster carers, colleagues, children and young people and other childcare teams. Our Fostering Team Co-ordinator is very much a part of the team around the child, as are our Foster Carers. It has also been so brilliant meeting our new starter pupils and families who are joining us in September and seeing current pupils who have been in for visits. The staff and I are looking forward to all the children coming back on 3rd September after the summer break. This newsletter contains some activities to support you over the holiday period. We will be having a real focus on school uniform in the Autumn term so please familiarise yourself with the school uniform requirements and if you have any questions please contact us on the parents@ email address. Thank you for your responses to our consultation about the school day, we have also consulted staff and governors and as a result are changing the school day to enable staff to stay with the children over lunchtimes. The new school times from September 3rd are: 9.00am-14.30pm. Transport have been informed and will inform the taxi operators. COVID-19 Guidelines for September: In September, we will be following Government guidelines to ensure all pupils and staff are safe. These are likely to change before September, so we will send an update closer to the return to school.

    BRACKENFIELD NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN 2017-2034 Pre-submission Draft September 2018 0 Foreword Welcome to the Brackenfield Neighbourhood Plan. Brackenfield is a dispersed rural hamlet within a civil parish in the North East Derbyshire district of Derbyshire. The village is about five miles east of Matlock and four and a half miles northwest of Alfreton. Brackenfield is in a rural setting and has one of the largest village greens in the country. The parish of Brackenfield includes much of the Ogston Reservoir. The Neighbourhood Plan seeks to ensure that any and all future developments within the area of the plan are in keeping with the aspirations of the local community. On behalf of the Steering Group and Parish Council, I would like to thank everyone who has participated in developing our Neighbourhood Plan; some 24 local residents who have attended steering group meetings at various points over the past 18 months and many others who have assisted by providing information, documents, books and maps and services. The Steering Group have spent the last year consulting local residents, undertaking research and specialist studies to produce a draft Plan that not only meets the need of the local community but pays close consideration to the NEDDC Local Plan, which although yet to be adopted, identifies the Brackenfield area as being of very limited sustainability with regards future development. This is the ‘pre-submission’ version of the Plan. The Parish Council is satisfied that it is a robust draft Plan and now invites residents, landowners, businesses, agencies and other people to give their views on it.
