FIELD SIZE 144 (100 ATGT; 44 Invites) [Cut-Off - Top 60 Professionals and Ties] Category 1 - Top fifty (50) of the Official World Golf Ranking as of the tournament application deadline. Category 2 - The winner of any Order of Merit based on accumulated performances on PGA Tour, European Tour, Japan Tour, PGA Tour of Australasia, Sunshine Tour, Asian Tour, and One Asia Tour. Category 3 - The winner of the ATGT’s Order of Merit shall be able to compete in any tournament for five (5) years after the season when the golfer won this title. Category 4 - The winner of Singha Thailand Masters or All Thailand Championship shall be able to compete in any tournament for three (3) years after the season when the golfer won either title. Category 5 - The winner of two or more tournaments within a period of one year shall be able to compete in any tournament for three (3) years after the season when the golfer won such titles. Category 6 - The winner of any tournament shall be able to compete in any tournament for two (2) years after the season when the golfer won such title. Category 9 - The top sixty (60) players of the previous year of the ATGT’s Order of Merit. Category 10 - The top four (4) amateurs based on the previous year of the ATGT’s Amateur Ranking Points. Category 11 - The leading player within the top 5 of the current ATGT’s Order of Merit who is not otherwise exempt (applied to the next eligible tournament). Category 12 - The leading 4 amateurs in the top twenty (20) from the current ATGT’s Amateur Ranking Points. Category 13 - ATGT Honorary Members. Category 15 - Top 40 players and ties from 2020 Final Qualifying Stage. Category 16 - The sixty-first (61st) to eightieth (80th) players of the previous year’s ATGT’s Order of Merit. Category 18 - Players finishing in forty-first (41st) to eightieth (80th) and ties from the 2020 Final Qualifying Stage. Category 19 - The eighty-first (81st) to one-hundred-fiftieth (150th) players of the previous year’s ATGT’s Order of Merit. Category 20 - Players missing the cut at the 2020 Final Qualifying Stage. Category 21 - The one-hundred-fifty-first (151st) players and below of the previous year’s ATGT’s Order of Merit. Category 22 - Past ATGT tournament winners who are not otherwise exempt. Category 23 - First Qualifying Stage players. ENTRY OPENING DATE Monday 22nd June 2020 at 09:00 hrs (Thailand time) APPLICATION • Entering by sending an email to [email protected] including Player name, Tournament which PROCESS player would like to apply for, specify which caddy would you like to use; Own caddy or House caddy. • Applications are only accepted via email. No other method of application submission shall be considered. • An application is not considered accepted unless the applicant receives a confirmation of acceptance via email. It is the applicant’s responsibility to verify his status of his application. ENTRY CLOSING DATE Monday 29th June 2020 at 16:00 hrs. (Thailand time) WITHDRAWAL Thursday 2nd June 2020 by 16:00 hrs. (Thailand time), and a sufficient reason for the withdrawal must be DEADLINE provided. A player who wishes to withdraw after this deadline must provide sufficient documentary evidence, such as medical records, for the withdrawal to be approved.     BRUCE YOUNG Former Leading Caddy, Course Design Marketer and now Leading Australian Golf Analyst Alistair Presnell’s Australasian Tour record equalling round of 60 to win the Victorian PGA Championship at Sandhurst Club in mid February was a fitting way to bring the golfing HOT SUMMER IN OZ summer of 2009/2010 to a close. resnell was on track to become the first player to break 60 on the APGA Tour when he raced to 11 under Pthrough 13 holes but a short missed birdie putt at the 17th cost him chance to create history. Both Paul Gow (2001) and Ernie Els (2005) had previously shot 60 and Presnell now becomes a member of those who share that milestone. A round of 59 was produced in a Von Nida Tour event in 2005 when Brad McIntosh won the Queensland PGA Championship and Craig Jones had also done so in a Pro Am event in Queensland but to have done so in a PGA Tour event would have been something quite special. While the PGA Tour of Australasia is now played over a calendar year, there is still a perception that the events of late 2009 and early 2010 are one. With the completion of the Victorian PGA Championship at Sandhurst however we must now wait until October for continuation of the 2010 season so perhaps now a chance to look back at the high- lights of these past few months and what we can expect in the coming months. The summer has been made up of three what could be described as mainstream events (The Aus- tralian Masters, Open and PGA Championships), two events co sanctioned with the Nationwide Tour and eight events that have now come under the umbrella of the PGA Tour but are known as Tier two events.

Linacre University of Sydney, Australia Theoretical and practical aspects of several methods for the construction of linear measures from rank-or- dered data are presented. The final partial-rankings of 356 professional golfers participating in 47 stroke-play tournaments are used for illustration. The methods include decomposing the rankings into independent paired comparisons without ties, into dependent paired comparisons without ties and into independent paired com- parisons with ties. A further method, which is easier to implement, entails modeling each tournament as a partial-credit item in which the rank of each golfer is treated as the observation of a category on a partial- credit rating scale. For the golf data, the partial-credit method yields measures with greater face validity than the paired comparison methods. The methods are implemented with the computer programs Facets and Winsteps.
