Getting from the airport to Magdeburg We recommend coming via the airports Berlin, Hannover, Leipzig, as these have the most convenient connections to Magdeburg.
Berlin – Magdeburg Airport Berlin Tegel: At the airport Berlin-Tegel take bus TXL or bus X9 to station „”Berlin Hauptbahnhof“. Then take a train towards Magdeburg. Alternative: Take the suburban line S25 via “Teltow Stadt” until “Berlin Friedrich Straße” and change there into a train towards Magdeburg. Duration: about 2-3 hours Costs: about € 20-35
Airport Berlin Schönefeld: There is a train station with connections to Magdeburg right at the airport. Duration: about 2-2,5 hours Costs: about € 20-30
Hannover – Magdeburg At the airport Hannover take the tram no. 5 (destination “Bad Pyrmont” or “Hameln”). Get off at the main station “Hannover Hauptbahnhof” and take a train to Magdeburg. Duration: about 1,5-2 hours Costs: about € 20-35
Leipzig/Halle – Magdeburg There is a train station with direct connections to Magdeburg right at the airport. Duration: about 1 hour Costs: about € 20-25
