All voice. -CNN Daring and inspiring. -Billboard NEW YORK, NOV 6 Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall MONTREAL, NOV 9 Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts LOS ANGELES, NOV 11 Wilshire Ebell Theatre Fresh off a summer tour in Europe, Mario Frangoulis returns to North America for an exclusive tour of just three cities: New York, Los Angeles, and Montréal. In An Evening with Mario Frangoulis, the classical crossover tenor and powerhouse vocalist, who has sold over 1 million records worldwide, will present a varied repertoire of music…highlighting his exceptional range and expression. Broadway World calls Frangoulis “one of the most beautiful tenor voices on earth” and although he is known for his charm, good looks and humanitarian spirit, it’s Mario’s unique voice with “glistening dynamics and tonal control” (CNN), that has captured audiences across the globe. Critics agree: Mario is unique and versatile…“Zimbabwe-born and Greek- raised, [he] is a veteran stage performer well-versed in everything from classical opera to popular musical theater, even Shakespeare... an extraordinary artist” (AllMusic). Mario catapulted to fame after being discovered by the legendary producer, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, who cast him as Marius in Les Misérables in London's West End upon his graduation from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. After receiving rave reviews in Les Mis, Mario played Raoul in Phantom of the Opera. His instant success in the world of musical theatre was only a prelude to a multi-faceted career that put him at #2 and #3 on Billboard’s Classical Crossover charts with his first two international albums, “Sometimes I Dream” and “Follow Your Heart,” at #10 on BMG’s International Charts with “Passione,” and at #12 on Billboard’s Classical Music Charts upon the debut of his first holiday album, “Tales of Christmas” in 2015. He has performed with a wide range of incredible artists in all musical genres from Placido Domingo, and Jose Carreras to Smokey Robinson and Justin Hayward of the Moody Blues to Sarah Brightman and Lara Fabian. Awarded both the prestigious Maria Callas Prize and Pavarotti Competition for his classical achievements, and voted “Best Male Classical Crossover Artist in 2011," Mario has toured extensively, filmed several live concerts, and released 19 personal albums. Mario has exemplified excellence in all of his musical pursuits, and has become known throughout the world for blending classical and contemporary sounds with perfection and authenticity. An Evening with Mario Frangoulis will include songs from his international repertoire ranging from his hits Vinceró, Perderó and Notte di Luce (Nights in White Satin) originally recorded with Justin Hayward to Beautiful Things by Stephan Moccio and a fresh interpretation of the jazz classic Nature Boy arranged by Grammy winner, Jorge Calandrelli. Diverse and enchanting, An Evening with Mario Frangoulis will transport listeners on a musical journey that fuses together the classical with the contemporary for an inspiring experience suitable for all ages. Fans of Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban will fall for this passionate performer. • BIO POESY Is Quickly Becoming One of the Most Exciting New Canadian
POSEY BIO POESY is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new Canadian voices. Influenced by innovative enigmatic artists like Kate Bush and Freddie Mercury, as well as 90s alternative rock queens PJ Harvey, Tori Amos, and Alanis Morissette, the Toronto-based artist has formed a gritty and unmistakable sound that demands to be heard. Pairing inspiration from her favourite novels with vulnerable confessions from her own life, POESY’s dark and powerful alt-rock rhythms makes it possible to dance and cry and wonder and hope all at once. During her 2018 participation in CTV’s The Launch, POESY collaborated with composer/ producer Stephan Moccio (Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne) to release the top 40 single Soldier of Love. The track drew comparisons to powerful rock front-women Amy Lee and Florence Welch and set the stage for POESY to be a new alternative voice to watch. She signed a major label deal with Big Machine Label Group in May (2018). Following the national success of the single, POESY went on to give spellbinding performances at several Canadian music festivals. POESY has since joined forces with acclaimed producer and now-artist manager, Gavin Brown (Metric, Three Days Grace, Billy Talent) to build on her sound and artistic vision. The two have built up an eclectic, intensely emotional body of work to be released soon. Strange Little Girl is POESY’s first single from the project - an unapologetic feminist anthem, uniting unusual girls to step into the spotlight. POESY is a mirror for her audience; a place where they can see their own struggles, fears, desires, and dreams reflected back in an empowering larger than life performance to be shared together.

WHO ARE YOU? by Fr. Bohdan Hladio , from Diocesan Observer, November 2002, #1168 An Orthodox priest holds no punches in saying how he feels about funerals and church membership. I know your name, I know your family, but I don’t know you. The phone call I got about you was the one I dread. “Father, so-and-so has passed away, and the family wants to know when you can serve the funeral.” What am I supposed to do? I’ve been in this parish long enough to have seen and met anyone who has even the slightest connection with our community. I’ve never seen you in Church.
