Swan Hill Regional Livestock Exchange Prime Sheep & Lamb Sale 8Th July 2021 Swan Hill Regional Livestock Exchange Prime Sheep & Lamb Sale 8th July 2021 In a bigger yarding of nearly 7500 head, Agents offered some excellent quality Heavy supplementary fed lambs. A noticeable dearer trend was seen in the Export run, with most of our regular buying group operating. The tops finished $5/head to $10/head better than recent markets while the limited offering of Mutton sold strongly, holding firm. As buyers looked for bigger lots, winter producer clean up lots were discounted across the board whilst in contrast lambs in good quality skins remained strong finishing $5/head to $10/head better. Agents offered a large run of light but well framed Merino Lambs headed to restockers & feedlots selling to $165/head. Trade weight lambs were in small numbers this week selling to $166/head & headed back to the paddock.
